Love Thy Woman Episode 21 Manny tempers with Jia and Michael’s DNA test to save Lucy’s marriage
Lucy followed Manny to the DNA testing facility and called Carol to inform her. Manny after receiving the results bumped into Lucy who was demanding to see the results before it got to Adam’s hand but Manny deprived her the opportunity.
Meanwhile, David and Helen went to visit Kai but met her absence. David gave Harry his phone to check the number which sent him an anonymous text that he and Jia’s son was alive. Harry dialed the number on his phone and realised it was Ria. He then told David that he did not know the number.
Lucy paced around Adam’s office. Kai arrived and later Adam also arrived. Lucy was really anxious both women sat while waiting for Manny. Dana was sending some documents to Adam and bumped into Jia at the elevator. Jia started acting weird, she and Dana arrived and Dana realised it was a family meeting.
She sat inside even though she was not informed about the meeting. Manny was there already and Adam opened the test result. Lucy read and started as she was crying, Kai snatched the results while Lucy laughed hysterically. Dana then realised a DNA test was conducted on her son and Jia after Harry told Adam that Lucy had bought Jia’s son 5million.
Dana was perplexed as she was leaving, she turned to ask Jia why Richie who claimed to be reclaimed to be responsible for Jia’s pregnancy was not there. She compelled Jia to voice out the truth. Jia admitted that David was the father of her son. Dana then said she was happy that she lost the child.
She slapped Jia and called her a traitor. The two women argued and as the family were separating the fight, Dana said she could not pretend that nothing had happened and swore to seek to it that Jia becomes miserable in life. Lucy left to her office and called Car to inform her. She believed Manny has saved her, that she said was so close.
Elsewhere, Harry recalled meeting Ria who was separated from her husband and the husband went with their children. She claimed that had changed her thoughts and emotions of how it felt to lose a child and took the numbers of Jia and David. Lucy and Dana reached home and the latter confronted Lucy for always keeping her in the dark while given with no sufficient time to prepare for the war with Jia. Lucy told her that everything that she was doing was for Dana’s own benefit.
Meanwhile, Jia was inconsolable still demanding to find her missing child. She insisted that Harry said he gave her child to Lucy. Harry was standing at the gate and when he saw Adam who came out of the car, he asked him whether Michael was Jia’s son. Adam kicked, punched and beat Harry mercilessly, while threatening to get him arrested if he drags his wife into his mess.
Jia interjected that she would file a kidnapping case against her uncle. Manny in his house recalled asking Lucy to voice out the truth for him to know what to do before the results comes. Lucy then came clean, Manny looking at how Lucy cried that her marriage would collapse and she would lose her daughter if the truth comes out touched his heart. He then received a text from Lucy, thanking him for what he did even though she did not know how he did it.
Adam got home looking all disappointed and Lucy asked if he was still upset. He admitted being upset that he has lost his grandson and assured to find the child as sooner or later the truth would eventually come out.
As Kai was dressing her brother’s wounds, they heard a sound from Jia’s room. Quickly, they rushed there to find that she has broken the container containing her baby ashes. She called Harry a traitor for selling her son, adding that he deserved to be behind bars and his soul deserved to burn in hell. Harry knelt and begged her. He assured that he would find her son for her.
Lucy met Carol and vent out her frustration. She cancelled the celebration of her 30th anniversary and Jim wondered why. Lucy wept uncontrollably.
