Betrayal (Halik) Episode 36 Lino denies Jade’s annulment
“Take the car sir, bring it to the car wash. It has to be thoroughly cleaned. The last person who actually used it was very filthy.”
A client came in search of Carmen and Jade said she was not there but Carmen arrived and went inside with her client, telling Jade that the person was her client.
Marissa asked what was going on and Jade said Carmen was not her problem but Helen was her headache. At the middle of their conversation, Jade planned to get her marriage annulled.
Helen asked Paeng whether it was true that Jacky had resigned and he said yes. Helen regretted and said she had wanted Jacky for Ace since she was intelligent, hardworking and comes from a good family.
Paeng indicated that perhaps she preferred dealing with Jacky than other women, adding that how would she react when she found that Ace was living with Jade.
Helen described Jade as blood sucking witch and promised to expose her to the world. Gio overhead the conversation and asked whether Ace and Jacky had divorced.
Marissa asked Jade whether she wanted to leave Lino. Lino kept thinking about the mole in his rank.
Mauro got upset after seeing news of Dos Disenyos inking a deal with Mape Enterprise.
He threw the paper on the table and Ace said he should leave it in his hand as he would handle it.
Mauro asked whether he would handle by taking Lino’s wife. Ace was shocked, Mauro told him that he should not think he did not know or he thought he believed in the story that Jacky and Lino were having an affair.
He asked Ace to thank God that Jacky was not his daughter otherwise they would be having a different conversation. Ace insisted that Jacky and Lino were having an affair before he and Jade had.
Mauro interjected that he should be glad that he prioritised Montecorp over everything else he would have seen his action against him. He then left Ace.
At Dos Disenyos, Lino apologised to his workers for his earlier action. The workers said they understood that he was passing through a lot.
Gio arrived at work and did not respond to his workers greetings. Maggie went for Gio.
Jade tried reaching Lino but he did not pick. She said she would go to his house if she had to. Marissa was scared that Lino’s family would gang against her and offered to go with her but she refused.
Meanwhile, Jacky spotted Ace’s car and saw Jade about to use it. Jade received a call from Marissa that there was an emergency meeting and had to return.
Jacky then called for the car to be towed. Bogs and other workers came to meet Maggie eating street food with Gio.
Bogs was disappointed and the workers made fun of him. Gio told Maggie that she resembled his brother’s wife, very simple and easy going who introduced him to eat Street food but heard she and his brother were separated.
Jade heard her car was being towed and said she was calling someone. Jacky came from behind asking who she was trying to call, “Ace?”
She asked her not to because the car was registered under her name and was taking back what was hers.
She warned Jade to tell Ace that the next time he would do that he should consult her regarding their conjugal properties for her not to be humiliated in such manner.

Jade felt more embarrassed while Jacky left. Baste told Barry to excuse her for her to talk to Lino but Mauro called.
Lino saw Baste was acting strange and she told him they should talk the next day.
Lino went to wait for Jade since she wanted them to talk about their annulment. Lino asked her why she wanted their marriage annulled and she replied that so that he could finally be free and get back to his mistress.
Lino asked if She was not tired, explaining that among the four of them Jade was the mistress.
Lino asked her to tell him the truth, she answered that Ace made her feel happy. Lino asked whether she liked being Ace’s dark secret.
“The guy can’t introduce you to his family and friends. Do you like being f00led? You like being a mistress? What did Ace give it to you?”
“Lino! He gives me everything that you cannot give to me. The whole time we were together I waited for all your promises to come through but none of them did. I get tired of waiting, was I supposed to wait forever?“
“I devoted my whole life to you. I was working on giving you everything that I promised you. Yo know that, I never forgot about my promise.”
“I l*v* you so much that I never betrayed you. I may not have given you everything but I gave myself to you. I do not know you anymore. You no longer the person I married. I despised you.”
She asked Lino whether he would blame her for chasing material things and requested that he should set her free as she was good without him.
Lino said he knew she wanted that and wanted to replace him with a person who would eventually treat her like garbage so he would not give her the divorce. Jade cried.
Ace went to see Jade but Jade was at the bar drinking. She called Ace that she needed him.
Jacky told Chari and Ken what she did to Jade and they laughed. Jade hugged Ace and told him that Jacky had the car towed when Ace asked her about the car.
Mauro called Baste that they should meet at the usual place. After the call, Barry came in and asked her whether she was crying and she said no.
He told her to lock the factory if she left. Ace brought Jade home and she informed him that she met Lino to ask for the annulment and he refused, saying he would sue Ace and her if she did not end her relationship with him (Ace).
She asked Ace if it was a crime to l”v” him. Ken asked Jacky whether Lino had spoken with her ever since they ruined Mauro’s plans. He told Jacky to talk to Lino.
“Misery l”ves company,” Ken said while smiling.
Jade and Ace were still fighting eachother, with Jade claiming Ace did not know what she was going through since he had his mother and father supporting him while she had no one.
She asked him if he l”v”d her and he said she was acting like Jacky and left. Lino came to Dos Disenyos to meet Baste there. She transported some things on a laptop to a drive but she forgot.
Lino took it for her. When she left Lino opened the laptop and realised that some important documents were sent.
Baste could not close the documents since Lino arrived. She was scared that he would notice so she immediately closed the laptop without shutting down.
