Betrayal (Halik) Episode 58 Ace is clinically confirmed as impotent
At Dos Disenyos, Barry gave orders that the workers should do their jobs right so that Lino becomes satisfied once he returned to see their work.
They suddenly heard the sound of Sir Idol’s motto and they all rushed out to welcome him.
Barry welcomed him and he thanked Jacky for her letter as it had effect on him to hasten his decision to return.
Jacky and Lino later had a meeting with a client, meanwhile, Ace met with Aliyah to hold a meeting on how she would be introduced to Montecorp. They bumped into Jacky and Lino at where they had their meeting.
Marissa got Jade a present and Jade felt so happy with it. Finally Ace introduced Aliyah Torre to Jacky, saying Aliyah was the investor of Montecorp. Jacky warned Aliyah against Ace.
Meanwhile, Baste paid a surprise visit to Barry. Jacky told her friends about Aliyah and her being an investor to the sinking Montecorp.
She was poised to find more information about Aliyah. Jacky and Aliyah later bumped into eachother in a restaurant.
Back to Barry, he forgave Baste and told her not to break his trust again and advised her to avoid people who would take advantage of her.
Baste later met with some people to get more information about Mauro and his dealings.
However, a spy among them took a recorder to record Baste and the other man’s conversation.
Ace met with investors of Montecorp and they found it amusing to get a new investor who would bring the dying company to its knees.
Paeng congratulated Ace for bringing Aliyah. He knew Ace was having an affair with Aliyah, adding that if she was the woman he replaced Jacky with there would not have been any problem since Ace was now focus and was working right.
Later, Paeng received the recordings and he went on with a plan to find a lead on what Baste wanted to do against Montecorp.
Ace called Jade several times but she texted Ace that she was okay and there was no need for him to check up on her.
Aliyah told Ace that the person did not want to talk to him and flirted with him.
Fe told Tat that Lino sudden departure was linked to Jade and she said Jade’s pregnancy could be for Lino since Jacky had stayed with Ace for long and never got pregnant.
She said Ace after all might be impotent. Helen went to see Jacky to talk to her about Ace and Jade’s baby. Helen reminded Jacky that Ace was impotent and she and Ace tried several times but did not get a child.
Jacky stated that the doctor never said they would not be able to make babies, he only said it would be difficult for them to get children.
Helen told Jacky about the possibility of Lino being the father of the child as eleven weeks ago Jade was still living under the roof of Lino.
Helen asked why Lino helped Jade and Jacky said Lino was kind hearted, something Helen failed to teach her son.
Jade was bent on getting a job. She was worried that she had not gotten any reply from the jobs she applied. Ace brought gifts and medicine and was ready to send her to clinic the next day but Jade refused his request.
Helen hired an investigator to probe into the life of Jade and what she was up to. Ken who ran into Jacky decided to go with Jacky to Dos Disenyos.
Barry met Yohann, the son of a client at Dos Disenyos. He said he had a meeting with Jacky, suddenly a voice came from behind, it was Jacky announcing her presence.
She confronted Yohann for making her wait. Jacky was informed that the person there was the son of the client. The man had a heart attack so his son replaced his dad.
Jacky apologised to him for her earlier behaviour. She showed him the latest models DOS Disenyos had. Yohann said he wanted simpler designs and Jacky showed samples of such designs.
Maggie in an outing with Gio seemed lost with personal problems. She told Gio the things her Sister in law did against her brother and her obsession for her brother to assist her after getting pregnant for another man.
Yohann asked Jacky out for a coffee but Jacky declined with an excuse that she did not want people to misinterpret their business relationship.
Yohann did not take no for an answer as Jacky was only in a contract with his dad not him.
Ken confronted Jacky for allowing Yohann to go. He said it was a great opportunity for her to be in a relationship.
Gio asked of his leave and Maggie saw him out. Gio in soliloquy said he had to keep Ace’s issue with Jade safe. He was scared that Maggie would turn her down once she realised he was a brother to the man who got Lino’s wife pregnant.
Paeng told Mauro about how Aliyah managed to impress the board. The good thing to Paeng was that Ace was the one who controls Aliyah.
However, Aliyah met her friend to talk to her about the development with Montecorp and her revenge against Mauro.
“I will make Mauro Montefalco pay, starting with Montecorp. I will take it from him and I will destroy it. Then I will punish him and his daughter. I will do to him what he did to me and my family, it’s only right and he will suffer the same way my father suffers when he took his business from us.”
The friend said Aliyah might fail since those who tried to bring Mauro down died trying.
“Times have changed and Mauro has become weak,” Aliyah stated that Ace was now her favourite toy which she would use to destroy everything.
The family of the Bartolomes had dinner and an issue of a man who his wife cheated on claimed ownership of his belongings due to conjugal agreement in their marriage.
Fe advised Lino to carry on with his plans to divorce Jade otherwise Jade might someday claim ownership of what she did not suffer to gain.
Lino seemed bothered and sat all night to brood over what Fe told him. Ed joined him and asked why he was not sleeping and he told Ed his frustrations.
Ed advised him to separate from Jade as soon as possible.
