Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 644 Hipolito appointed as Presidential Advisor, Cardo and Lia fight a group of armed men to save the couple
Virgie threw the Taskforce out when the rest arrived at the place to inform Borja about k!lling some of the black ops due to the checkpoints erected on various streets. Ramon wondered where Virgie wanted the group to go as they needed time to figure things out.
Virgie went to see her husband to inform him about throwing the Taskforce out. Teddy also supported her decision because he was now ready and willing to protect them. Delfin addressed the group and told them that Teddy and Virgie had made it clear that they should leave but they were not going to leave.
Major Basco said it would be difficult for them to find a hideout most especially now that the police were after their tail. Delfin said they would not go anywhere till Cardo had returned. Lito told his group that Ramil would foresee the 10 million transaction. The decision didn’t go down well with Lara and her team so the group attempted to attack Ramil.
Lito spoke with Lara and didn’t want her to question his authority. Lara believed Ramil would stab him at the back just like he did with Cardo and was ready to prove it. Hipolito called Helen to speak with Mariano and also to print out the speech he had sent for the evening press conference.
Mariano read the speech and he said it was something cheap he could deliver. Later, Hipolito arrived and told him that the conference would not be held at the palace conference room but at a place where everyone would witness his authority as the president.
Soon, Lily was informed about the press conference but was caught by surprise when journalists got there surrounded and Mariano announced that he had seen the potentials of Hipolito and since he had cleared his name, he wanted to make full use of his experience and announced him as the Presidential Advisor.
Lily was speechless and Mariano dragged her to face the media. He urged her to say some of the good things about Hipolito. Lily was caught up at the moment and said she supports her husband.
The Taskforce told Delfin to talk to Virgie and Teddy to make them stay at the moment. Renato in the news promised to deliver his mandate as an Advisor to the president and having occupied the position as a Director of the National Defense Agency before, the job would be easy for him.
Watching the news on her phone, Elizabeth wondered how the President became closer to Hipolito, the wicked man. Hipolito was in the office of the President when Jacob called him to inform him that he watched him in the news. They planned their 10 million transaction and the means they could intercept the transaction for Lito to be caught in between the crossfire.
Hipolito joked around that Lito was a tough guy and it was nothing if he took bullets for them. The comrades of Cardo decided not to leave and Virgie overheard them. She went to inform her husband and Teddy said the place was theirs and they could decide who would stay with them and who wouldn’t.
Ramon came to serve the group with coffee and apologized to the group about the actions of Virgie and Teddy. The owners of the place Cardo was residing came home. Some robbers who heard of the money the Colonel had brought attacked the place.
As the shøøtings were ongoing, Lia thought it was Albert and his group and warned Cardo that there was nowhere for him to hide. She urged him to surrender because he had to pay for all his crimes, Cardo told her that she rather had to pay for all the wrong things she has done.
She locked her in the room and rushed down to find the Colonel and his wife, the owners of the place shõt deàd. He then shõt the armed men rushing in and told the couple who were kept him safe with Lia to go up and join Lia at where he locked her up. The couple went and Lia asked them about the shøøtings.
Hearing they were armed men that attacked and k!lled the owners of the house, Lia was told by the man to assist Cardo since she was a cop. He gave her the Colonel’s gün and she saw drugs in the drawer of the Colonel and realized the owner of the house was into illegal businesses aside from being a cop.
Salonga was sad about how the President has allowed Lily to manipulate him. They said they were in that situation because of Lily. Diana said that was the reason a person like Cardo and the Taskforce were needed to suppress the corrupt rule.
Arturo began to have a second thought about working with Lily. Since Hipolito had outsmarted her, he deemed it beneficial to be with him in his quest for avenging the deàth of Cardo. Cassandra went to massage Mariano and was planning to win him over to make him side with Lily instead of Hipolito.
Cardo skillfully took down the armed men along with Lia. The pair used their tactics and great delivery to defeat the cropped of armed men who got the house surrounded.
