Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has lauded KNUST researchers for the invention of local ventilators to aid the fight against COVID-19

The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has expressed happiness about the recent invention of local ventilators.

The ventilator was invented by researchers at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to help the nation to beef up the fight against COVID-19.

Expressing happiness about this invention today in a post, Mr Nkrumah lauded the researchers for the good work done.

“It is exciting to note that researchers at KNUST Ghana have announced the local production of a local ventilator, ” he said.

Mr Nkrumah promised his outfit’s preparedness to coordinate with the researchers and engage necessary authorities to gain approval to procure and use some if the needs arise.

“In the coming days we will have to engage and get the necessary approvals to procure and use some if need be. Well done guys,” he added.
