The Killer Bride Episode 2 Camila curses her enemies, threatens to return

“I curse you, I curse all of you now you are going to see for yourselves the kind of restless monster you have awakened from the depth of hell. I will come back for all of you. I swear I will come back.”

Javier was sent to hospital and was pronounced dead. His mother, Antonia arrived at the hospital, feeling sad that Javier has lost his life. She blamed Camila for her son’s omen.

Felipe on the other hand sent Camila home. Camila who was shocked by the event kept crying that Javier needed help.

She narrated that she received a text from Vito to meet him. Once she arrived Javier was furious claiming that her family was tarnishing the name of the Dela Cuestas, thus would not allow Vito to get married to her.

Camila further stated that she later found a knife in her hand and was also drenched in blood.

Her grandpa, Jacobo arranged a flight for her to leave Las Espadas for Manila since she was framed for the murder. Unfortunately the police arrived at the moment Camila was escaping.

Someone in the Dela Torre family gave the police tip off about the escape of Camila. Once her helicopter landed the police were already there surrounding the place and arrested her.

At the station, Camila narrated that a certain man grabbed her from behind and  she lost consciousness. She believed that the person murdered Javier.

She also stated that she saw a tattoo on the man’s chest and could draw for them to search for the culprit.

Antonia blamed the Dela Torres for the havoc.

Various demonstrations were conducted by the residents for the banishment of the Dela Torres.

Felipe and Luciano fought over the miss-happenings in their family. He blamed Luciano and revealed that Luciano was the one who called the police.

Luciano however threatened Felipe that if he did not want his political career to get ruined he should not take sides with Camila.

In prison, Camila decried that Vito never showed up to visit her. She did not care if the world did not believe her but all she cared about was for Vito to believe her.

Her attorney visited and she said they could not find her phone. The attorney said the phone would have helped to prove her innocence but she should not lose hope.

After three months she was sent to the female dormitory, the township staged a protest to register their grievances about Camila’s action during the hearing of her case at court.

They called for the “killer bride” (Camila) to be jailed. At court, Camila saw Jacobo and Vito. She wanted to be with her grandpa but she was not given that privilege to get close to him.

Vito testified against Camila. He said he met Camila covered in blood at the chapel with a knife next to Javier.

He narrated that Javier suffered various wounds, and when asked by the lawyer who was at the crime scene with Javier he mentioned that he only saw Camila at the crime scene.

A woman who had witnessed Camila pointing a knife at Javier when he was harassing Agnes, Camila’s friend also gave her testimony.

Felipe, the mayor was interviewed by the media and he said it was unfair for the people to talk against Camila while the issue was in court. He promised never to come in between the case even though Camila was his family member.

He added that he was serving the people as mayor and not his family, thus the decision on Camila’s case was for the court to decide.

In the second hearing, Vito stated that Javier was scared and pointed at Camila as the person who stabbed him but was quick to add that the fact that Javier pointed at Camila never meant that she killed his brother.

Manay Ichu also testified that Camila was raised by her and was a person who would not even kill a fly. She then assured the court that Camila was not the one who killed Javier.

The Verdict

The accused (Camila) was proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt and was sentenced to life imprisonment. After hearing the sentence of his beloved grand daughter, Jacobo suffered heart attack and suddenly fell in court.

A noise rushed through the court like a wild wind blowing the heat of an omen yet to befall on Las Espadas. Camila cried for help for her grandfather but was not allowed to get close to him.

She could only watch while Guada and the rest of the Dela Torre family rushed Jacobo out.

Fast forward, Vito later went to jail to talk to Camila about their yet-to-be born child but Camila believed he wanted to take away her child from her once she delivered.

She said for all those months Vito never visited and was now visiting after he testified against her.

Vito assured her that he knew she was saying the truth all along that she never killed Javier. That, he said was the reason he told the court what he saw and what he also thought about Camila and the incident.

As Camila was being transferred in a police car to Manila, she became in labour. The driver was unable to send her to hospital for delivery since it was an hour drive to hospital.

She was assisted by other inmates in the car  and she delivered a baby girl. She named her child Vida, a Spanish name which meant Life.

Camila explained that the child was the reason she was living. She was sent to a nursing ward at jail and she met Sharon, a nursing mother who lost her baby and other mothers.

She was later visited by her attorney as she was working on her appeal. Camila asked of her grandpa and she said he was still in a comma but was fighting for his life, urging Camila to also fight for her freedom.

The sketch of the tattoo of the person who attacked her on the day of Javier’s death was distributed to everyone within Las Espadas. As the Attorney was informing Camila about her work so far to facilitate her release the attorney received a text from someone saying he knew someone with such tattoo.

Camila was happy to hear that. She also gave a proposal to Camila that Vito wanted the custody of the child but Camila failed to sign. Her lawyer told her to think about it as the place was not good for her to raise Vida.

The Death of The Killer Bride’s Attorney

The Attorney met the person who had seen the culprit with such tattoo. He was scared for his life and pleaded with the attorney not to reveal his identity.

He never wanted to end up like Javier so he told the attorney not to blow his cover after he revealed the truth behind the person.

In her kitchen at home, the Attorney called Camila on phone to inform her that the person with such tattoo used to work in their plantation and when she was about to name the person, a bang came on the door.

She thought it was her house helper but least did she know it was a bang of death on her door. She went to check the person and when she was returning her blender started working, there she was attacked. A news broke the next day that  the killer bride’s attorney had hanged herself.

In prison, Camila’s friend believed the attorney did not commit suicide as being reported but was killed by the person who killed Javier. Sharon told her that the person who was after her was very dangerous.

Vida’s temperature had gone high so Camila told the guards and was made to see a nurse. She was told that her daughter was seriously sick.

How Camila Lost Vida

The nurse told Camila to leave the child with her and go for her things so that they could go to the hospital and see a doctor, stressing that the baby was suffering convulsion.

Camila went to her cell and told her friends about the situation in which Vida was in. Her friends supported her with money. She even decided to give Vida to Vito in order to preserve the life of her daughter.

The Jail Fire

A hand lighted a matches and dropped it on a gas, as Camila came from her cell she realised the place was on fire. The people around tried to stop her but she entered the fire to help her daughter.

The nurse held her and told her to save her life since Vida was already gone but she did not so the nurse ran leaving her in the fire.

She shouted, screamed and cried Vida’s name. She wailed in agony, saying sorry for her inability to save her daughter.

The Curse that Turned Las Espadas

In pain she screamed, roared like a lion as her voice echoed:

“I curse every single one of you who caused my daughter’s death. I will come back for all of you. I curse you. I swear I will make sure that each one of you pay for what you did.

I curse you, I curse all of you now you are going to see for yourselves the kind of restless monster you have awakened from the depth of hell. I will come back for all of you. I swear I will come back,” she groaned in pain.

The nurse after watching Camila at the other side burning into ashes as the fire gutted around her left.
