Betrayal (Halik) Episode 66 Jade to confront Gio over his relationship with Maggie
Jacky after meeting Ace and Aliyah in a restaurant threatened that they did not want to be on her wrong side and cautioned them on any move against Mauro.
Gio and Maggie got the Bartolome mansion, the kids stopped Gio from going upstairs, daring him to a game.
Gio won the game and went inside the house. He wanted to use the washroom and Jade stopped him, thinking he wanted to toil with Maggie and use her as his next victim.
Gio pleaded with Jade not to reveal his identity. He declared his good intentions and did not want to back down.
In a car, Jacky called Lino to inform him about meeting Ace and Aliyah during her outing with Yohan.
She said Ace and Aliyah was up to no good and threatened them not to think of taking over her family’s business.
Lino got home to meet Gio and he called him for a personal chat. Meanwhile, Yohan and Jacky got to Jacky’s condo. He comforted Jacky, saying after seeing her ex husband he realised that Ace was not a good person, thus deserved someone better.
As Jacky was going inside her room, Yohan pulled her over and pleaded with her to give him the chance to make her feel happy.
Emotions got intense and almost kissed. Jacky quickly pulled away when their lips almost locked. She apologised and Yohan also apologised for rushing things.
He promised to wait and move with Jacky’s pace. They said goodnight to each other and Jacky got inside the room, looking all that happy. Her head was in the cloud, the was butterfly all over her stomach, smiling all night.
Yohan also looked on, back in the Bartolome mansion, Lino asked Yohan his last name, suddenly he ran out of words as he was looking for the right words to save the moment, Dolor came and he took advantage of the distraction to cool down tension.
Dolor pleaded with Lino not to intimidate Gio and he said he was not intimidating him but was only trying to no him better, thus he was just starting from the basics to know his last name.
Still feeling all scared in revealing his identity, he said his last name was Cor.
“Aren’t you a Corpuz?” Maggie interjected.
He explained that he used to bear his mom’s surname Corpuz but two years ago his mother married his step dad and his name was changed from Corpuz to Cor.
Lino was confused but he asked if he knew someone with the name Ace, Lino looked at his estranged wife but Gio denied knowing with the name Ace and asked for his leave.
Gio told Lino that he had to pick up his mom at McCarthy and Lino retorted that he did not sound so sure. Dolor intervened and Lino took back his drink he served Gio, saying he did not know he was driving.
Jacky broke the good tidings to her friends. Chari was disappointed that Jacky did not accept Yohan’s proposal right away.
Attorney Ken supported Jacky for not rushing things and Chari said she knew he was in team Lino.
Lino got in and asked if they were discussing about him since heard his name. Ken he was not the actual topic but Yohann, revealing that he almost k!$$ed Jacky.
Lino was not happy he thought Yohann was harassing Jacky and she said he was a nice person and did not do anything bad to her.
“I am just kidding,” Lino added. Their conversation was interrupted. Jade approached Maggie demanding to talk to her.
Jade asked Maggie where she met Gio and she said he was her former boss and asked when did her suitor started showing interest in her. She advised Maggie that she should know Gio better as there were jerks out there to toil with women’s heart.
Maggie was puzzled about Jade’s sudden interest in her l*ve life and asked her if Gio was a jerk and whether she knew something about Gio that she (Maggie) did not know about him.
Jade said she knew nothing but pleaded to heed to her advice. Maggie brush it on Jade’s face that she knew already that she had to be careful about her suitors and walked out on Jade.
At Montecorp, Lino seemed bothered and Barry thought it was about Jade and he said he was rather thinking about Jacky.
Lino asked Barry if Jacky was actually falling for Yohann. Barry said it was possible but Lino should blame himself for acting so slow.
Lino said it was not only about that but he was also concerned since Jacky was his friend and she recently came from a broken and did not want her to get hurt.
Barry advised him to talk to Yohann to know his real intentions but Lino said Jacky was not a kid. Barry indicated that Lino should not regret when Jacky and Yohan end up together.
Lino insisted that if Yohan was a good guy and Jacky ends up with him it was perfect. Barry teased him saying his thoughts were tangled like his hair.
Later, Lino went to meet Jacky and Yohan having lunch. He felt like he was interrupting them and Jacky said he was not.
Yohann explained that he brought Jacky lunch and Lino said they could eat even when it was not right for them to do that at the office.
Jacky did not hear and asked him what he said but he changed his words. Seeing Jacky and Yohan happy talking to eachother, he murmured that they were acting as if he was not there.
He proposed that since Yohan was always at the office he should take advantage of knowing the rest of the workers of Dos Disenyos.
He asked Yohan if he was not working, this got Yohan to leave but Lino still couldn’t understand his actions. He asked himself what was getting to him.
However, Gio got home and found the family having dinner together with Aliyah, they asked him to join but he refused.
Ace followed Gio to apologise for disrespecting Aliyah but Gio confronted him. He said due to Ace’s action he could not be with Maggie.
Ace told him that he knew he had a bad taste but never knew it was worse for him to court Lino Bartolome’s sister.
They fought and their parent intervened, Ace revealed that Gio was upset with him because he wanted to court Lino’s kid sister. Paeng was upset and asked:
“Did your brother court all the ladies and left him with scrubs?”
Gio revealed that Maggie was a good person but Helen insisted that Gio has become rebellious after being with Maggie.
Marissa went to the Bartolomes to ask of her bestie. They were happy to meet eachother. Jade revealed that she wanted to confront someone and wanted her to escort her.
Marissa said it was a new year and they had to turn into a new leaf. She revealed her intentions to talk to Gio about his intentions with Maggie.
At Dos Disenyos, Lino wanted to get to know Yohan better and requested a outing with him. He said Yohan seemed to have good intentions about her and she said there was nothing between them.
She has already explained to Yohan that she was still in her annulment process. She asked Lino how far with his.
At Gio’s office, Jade and Marissa who were waiting for Gio saw Ace entering in with Aliyah. Marissa said Aliyah was the other woman of Ace and her face was annoying.
Lino received a call from Fe informing him that Jade went out with Marissa and Lino said she already informed him about it. Lino revealed that she said she was going to get some baby stuffs and Fe asked if he believed her.
Lino said he did not care about what Jade would do with her life so along as his baby was safe he did not mind. He added that Jade could even go clubbing he did not care.
Marissa said she was tired of waiting to see Gio come out so she went inside Gio’s office for him.
Unfortunately for Jade, Helen who arrived there saw her in a car and made noise. Marissa and Gio got there, due to how Helen was acting they could not talk to Gio and Marissa drove away while Gio tried stopping his mother.
Jacky visited her stepfather to find out that he had locked himself and the helpers of the house was frustrated upon their inability to get in.
They managed to open the door and found Mauro lying helplessly on the floor. Jacky cried that they should should quickly call an ambulance.
