The Better Half Episode 40 Court throws out Camille and Marco’s petition of annulment
Rafael went to Marco’s house to warn him from getting involved with his wife, he asked him to stop trying to win Camille back.
Marco told him that he had already given up on Camille and Rafael said it was not true since he was also a man.
Marco told Rafael that he knew how to keep his word but he would take his wife back if he found out that Rafael hurt her.

Rafael told Marco that he already missed his chance and then left the house.
When Rafael got to his car, he received a text from Karen telling him that Camille was already waiting for him.
Rafael drove to the foundation with his flowers and Camille happily accepted him and forgave him for all the misunderstanding.

Rafael said he was sorry and it would never happen again. He then took her home for them to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
Camille was surprised to see her dad, Edgar and Susan who were invited by Rafael to th anniversary.
Helen and Luicito were also there and the two families celebrated their children’s anniversary, while they were on the table, Edgar advised them to keep loving each other and threatened to take his daughter away if he found out that Camille and Rafael fought physically.
He meant it as a joke but Camille, Rafael, Helen and Luicito all got tense after they remembered what happened.
Susan lightened things up by saying that what they all wanted from Camille and Rafael were grandchildren and they needed to work harder to give them one.
Helen agreed but suggested that they both take care of Camille’s annulment first before they decided to get a child so that things would not get complicated.
Camille talked to her parent privately and her parent wanted to know why she was crying when the last time she called them.

Camille said that she had a minor misunderstanding with Rafael but it had already been resolved. Edgar asked about Marco and camille told him that Marco was doing fine, stressing that they already got a nurse to take care of him.
Rafael heard them talking about Marco then interrupted to tell them that everything was ready so that they could visit Julio’s grave.
When they got there, Susan and Edgar paid their respects to Julio, they had not been there again after his burial, Susan cried and still could not believe she had lost a son.

They also thanked Helen and Edgar for taking care of everything.
Rafael had been quiet all the while and Camille asked him if they still had a problem.
Rafael asked Camille whether it was necessary for her to keep in contact with Marco and Camille told him that if it was about the gift that he sent, Marco only did that to show his gratitude.
Rafael bemoaned that he overheard her parents and her talking about him and he always felt as if he could not compete with Marco.
Camille did not understand why Rafael was always jealous, she explained that her parents loved Marco as their own son.
She said Marco had always been good to her family, thus there was nothing much she could do about that. She however assured him that they loved him too and had accepted him as her husband.
Marco became frustrated about his condition, he wanted to get better very fast but her nurse told him that he would only get worse if he did not give himself enough time to heal.
Marco and his daughter’s relationship got better with time and with Bianca’s help. She started walking on stilts.
Bianca was determined to have Marco’s marriage annulled so she met the judge incharge and paid him half a million to annul the marriage.

She also threatened to expose his gay relationship if he did not do it.
Camille and Marco preped for the hearing and decided on what to say in court.
Rafael was worried that the annullment might not be granted but Camille assured him that they would go to the court of appeal or even the supreme court if it was necessary.
When they started going for the hearing, Camille stuck to her story of being mentally incapacitated to be Marco’s wife.
Marco’s lawyer had advised him to contradict Camille so that it would not seem as if they are in collusion with each other.
Marco therefore said that there was nothing wrong with Camille and that he still loved her. They were not supposed to talk about their present relationships with Rafael and Bianca but one of the prosecutors brought it up.
After attending a series of hearings, Camille and Marco got the final verdict from the court that their petition for annullment had been denied!
