The Broken Marriage Vow Episode 31 Jill confronts the Luceros for scolding Gio, Gio joins Enzo’s bad company, Claire withdraws from ruining Jill’s life
Jill followed her son but didn’t make him see her. Gio went to his room and Jill still viewed him from afar. She then went to see Diane to tell her about her issues. She wondered if he was not treated well in the house, the reason he quit basketball. Diane wanted to help her find out but Jill reminded her that they knew she was her friend.
Gio was on his bed when his father came to ask where he went. He told him that he went after the person who stole his phone and now has found it. David asked why he had been keeping things from him since him that he lost his phone.
The next day, when Jill was at work, she received a call from the principal and she went there. Gio skipped school and was playing a game when Mikah got there to ask him if his problem because his mother was worried about him Gio opened up that he felt unwelcomed everywhere.
Mikah said his mother was doing everything to get him but Gio described his mother’s act as pretence. He believed his mother would act the same way as David if she was with Gabby. Mikah doubted his words. Gio admitted he was involved in things at his father’s house but felt left out because they were forced to do it.
Jill and David met at the Principal’s office and were told that Gio had not been performing well and that was because he had been skipping classes. The principal told them that she knew they were not together but they have to come together when it comes to Gio to know what was best for him.
Jill asked David if her son was feeling well because he began acting that way when he was in his house. David did not want to be blamed for it. He also said Gio had been keeping things from him too. David got home to ask Lexy if Gio was treated right when he was not there because his principal called him over to the school and was told Gio was not doing well.
Lexy did not understand because the only incident that happened was when Gio was in a foul mood and her parents found his act disrespectful. Mikah went to see Jill to tell her that Gio was acting that way because Mr and Mrs Lucero scolded him and he felt humiliated. He felt that he was not welcomed in that house and he also has no intentions to return to her.
Jill told Diane about it. She had a plan to make the Luceros talk to David to return her son since they did not like him. She found it hard to digest that the Luceros were scolding her son.
Meanwhile, Gio got home late and was sneaking in, least did he know that his father was sitting waiting for him. He had a talk with him concerning his new habit which has led the Principal to have a talk with him and Jill. He decided to hold a lunch date with the Luceros and advised his son to act respectfully.
He organised it and Nathalia warned Gio not to act like her grandson. David explained to them that his son was a respectful boy but was going through something when he behaved that way to them. Gio admitted and apologised to them.
Later, Gio overheard their conversation in a washroom that Gio was not well mannered. David made it clear to Fred that his son was passing through something and he was not there for two years to help shape so he should bear with Gio. He was still a kid. Jill got there and told Fred to make David return her son if he did not like him.
She caught Gio and told him to leave with her but Gio refused. She wanted him to tell everyone what he was going through and whether he was being treated well. Jill confronted Fred for scolding her son. Gio said it was his fault that was why he was scolded. Gio chose to remain with his father and claimed that his mother was aggravating things.
Jill went to drink her frustrations out. Claire got there and she asked her what was next for her. David turned her son against her and took him away. Her position at the hospital was given to Claire and now he wanted her to leave the place.
He turned her into a villain after beating her and taking the savings she secured for the future of her son. Her story began to move Claire.
Gio went to sit outside the gaming center after overhearing the conversation of David and Lexy about him. Enzo saw him and told him to join him at his place. Gio went to school but was sleeping during the basketball training. Mikah went to wake him up since the basketball was over and everyone was going home.
Max told Mikah to stop since it seemed Gio didn’t sleep. Max left and Mikah managed to wake him up. Gio was upset with her for telling Jill a secret he confined in her. He was walking out on her when both bumped into Jill.
Gio suspected Mikah called Jill there and Jill explained that Mikah had no idea of her coming. Mikah excused them. Gio called his mother selfish and claimed she was doing everything to ruin his father’s new family.
Jill slapped him for disrespecting her for saying untrue things against her. As Jill was leaving, Grace came to tell her that she was tired her daughter was always caught in between her issue with her son and would cease Mikah from being friends with Gio. Jill pleaded with her not to do that.
Claire met with David to tell him that she had already occupied Jill’s position. She asked him if he was happy with that achievement. David said that was not it. He wanted Jill out. Claire stated that it was not as easy as he thought. She wanted to back down because getting Jill demoted was okay and Jill was good in what she does.
David said it was not enough. He wanted her to be out so she should stick to the plan.
