I’m too stubborn for my husband to manage me— Ceccy Twum reveals
Gospel sensation, Ceccy Twum has called on musicians who are married to their managers to ensue professionalism by employing neutral people as managers.
According to her, she cannot work with her husband as a manager, explaining that she cannot be professional when with him.

Speaking in a media interview in Accra yesterday, Ceccy Twum indicated that musicians have to share ideas with their managers but the professionalism in place could reduce as they would not be able to criticise their wives.
“As a musician you should be able to talk freely with your manager and when you think there is something or a way your manager wants things to go and you disagree, you should be able to point it out to him or her that you want it this way which you cannot do if you are working under the direction of your husband,” she added.
Ceccy Twum insisted that working with one’s husband as manager could hinder the ability of freeing one’s mind, stressing that “no matter how professional they will both be, the idea of ‘he is my husband’ will always be at the back of the person’s mind when talking to him.”
Touching on how professional she was, she stated that she was not an “easy going type” as most Ghanaians perceived hence wanted a manager who could push her harder in her career.
She further indicated that she was very “stubborn” in real life and did not think her husband could manage her.
