Patapaa in critical condition over food poisoning
The “one corner” hit maker, Patapaa Aministy is allegedly in critical condition after being poisoned on Sunday.
Report indicated that he survived but was detained in an undisclosed hospital at Swedru, in the Central Region due to his condition.
Giving a vivid account of the incident, Bow Tyre, a musician and a friend to Patapaa who confirmed the news to the Media in an interview said they went out with some friends last night and Patapaa later complained of stomach pains.
He indicated that they rushed the “Pataah Life” musician to a local clinic in Agona Swedru where it was confirmed he had been poisoned.
“We suspect the guys we met at the pub might have put poison in Patapaa’s drink,” he added.
Bow Tyre who was unpleased by the incident thanked God for saving the life of his boss.
In October last year, Patapaa was allegedly poisoned in Tarkwa during a concert at a traditional festival, which he was booked to perform.
According to the report, Patapaa was supposed to perform at a show the previous day but was quickly sent to St Martins de Porres hospital just some few hours to his performance at the Kundum Show at Atuabo.
He however, confirmed the news and blamed a close pal as the culprit who wanted him out of the industry.
