We will sue Mzbel for claiming the ‘sea god’ absconded with her money— spokes person for Naa Ye Wei
Spokesperson of the Ga Traditional (James Town) stool, Nii Quaye has revealed intentions of the elders of the traditional area to sue controversial Songstress, Mzbel for claiming the Chief Priest Naa Ye Wei absconded with her money.
According to him, Naa Ye Wei is the god of the sea and quizzed how a sea God could run with her money.

Mzbel on United Television (UTv), a private media alleged that she gave the Chief Priest a sum of Gh¢2,000 to settle a feud between Afia Schwarzenegger and her.
She said ever since Na Ye Wei took the money he failed to do his part of the job and expressed regret for visiting the Ga shrine to redeem her name from all the bad allegations against her.
Mzbel stated that her beliefs in the traditional system was fading after the Chief Priest claimed he was sick and was hospitalised with drips on him.

“I know a lot of people trust me, I am so embarrassed saying this; but how can a chief priest fall sick and be hospitalised when he can heal himself with herbs?” she quizzed.
Mzbel however urged the public not to set foot at the shrine of Naa Ye Wei, stressing that “he is a fraud.”
“Don’t go there; they will take your money and fall sick. No one should go there; they are fraudsters….they collected my GH¢2000 and didn’t do anything,” she cried.
Reacting to this in a media interview , Nii Quaye indicated that Mzbel went there to curse the popular radio and TV hostess Afia Schwarzenegger.
He said the intention of Mzbel in visiting the shrine was evil and condemned her act.

” Mzbel didn’t visit the priest for peace between herself and Afia Schwarzenegger as she claims but came with an evil mindset to curse Afia for spewing lies against her on air,” Nii Quaye added.
He however expressed regret on how the words of Mzbel against the sea god could affect the public who believe in the traditional council.
Nii Quaye insisted that the songstress words could have a lasting implications on viewers of the show and urged Mzbel to come for her money.
“She should come for her money as soon as possible because listen… the elders have checked in to lead the case to the court. Naa Ye Wei is a sea god so how could she say the god took her money?” He quizzed.
