Miller Greg to set Labone on fire with  ‘Atmosphere of Laughter’ comedy show

Renowned comedian, Miller Greg is set to host “Atmosphere of Laughter,” a maiden comedy show at Mikado Conference Centre at Labone in Accra on Saturday, February 27, 2021.

The show will starts off with a fashion statement on the red carpet at exactly 5pm while the event itself kicks off at 7pm.

Musicians, poets and comedians will mount the stage with lots of goodies that would crown the night with atmosphere full of bliss and laughter.

The programme which is brought by Anansesam Media in partnership with Spot On News, Exhub Gh, Gh Pizzaro, GMlive  among others will also see sterling performances from Poet Timmy, Bernard the Magician, Shegelabobo, MJ the comedian, Allo Wess, Dr Sas, Ken De Comic, PJay, Niño and Okokobioko.

Speaking in an interview with Spot On News in Accra on Wednesday, Ghana’s talented comedian, Miller Greg stated that the event was organised to bring entertainment stakeholders together to promote the industry.

He explained that the coronavirus (covid-19) outbreak in the country took away liveliness, laughter and joy from the people and expressed readiness to bring them back during the event.

Miller Greg urged Ghanaians to grab their tickets for a cool Ghc30 regular, Ghc50 VIP and Ghc70 VVIP, adding that some tickets were also available online for interested people who could not buy the tickets manually.

Poet Timmy endorses Atmosphere of Laughter

Poet Timmy called on the citizenry to patronise the maiden comedy show: “Atmosphere of Laughter.”

The event, he said would among other things afford patrons with a night full of comedy, poetry and music to ginger them in their new year after a dull Christmas last year.

Poet Timmy, one of the industrial poets billed to perform at the event said the comic show would be an event that would shape the industry.

He stated that the initiative was laudable as it would harness talents and provide better platform for people in the creative arts Industry to expose their talents to the world.

“I believe talent is creativity, and creativity is to be exposed. So with this growing platform, it will serve as avenue where arts can be experienced,” Poet Timmy said.

He noted that poetry as an artistic piece is hardly patronised by many and saw atmosphere of Laughter as an event that could help set minds on poetry.

The poet observed that entertainment was not limited to only music and dance, thus underscored the need for stakeholders to broaden the scope by investing in comedy and poetry.

“If only entertainment stakeholders would see Poetry and spoken words as a creative art, entertainment will be limitless. I wish for stakeholders to invest into this beautiful art poetry,” he added.

Poet Timmy indicated that the event would serve as a learning platform of creativity and urged the citizenry to partake in it.

“When someone is able to use the mind for good purpose, it needs all regards and public attention and this event would be an events of the brains as many arts have been crafted together to give patrons a night of joy and atmosphere of learning,” Poet Timmy said.

Covid-19 protocol, he noted would strictly be observed and encouraged patrons to arrive in their nose masks.
