Xian Lim accuses KimXi fans for name tarnishing and threats
Actor Xian Lim has accused supporters of KimXi, a love team as the reason his name in the industry has been tarnished following his 12 years relationship with lover Kim Chiu which hit the rocks last November.
According to him, the love-team fans purportedly spread lies and sparked rumours about the events that led to his separation with Kim.

Speaking in a media interview to mark his 15 years in the industry, the talented actor stated that the supporters claimed that his break up was due to him cheating on Kim Chiu, gingering him to force Kim to release separate statements to announce their break up.
That move, he said was to clarify the air that they broke up on mutual grounds not because he jilted her for another woman.
Xian further stated that he received threatening messages and his family also received “below the belt” messages.

“When this story first came to me, I didn’t understand it, to be honest. There’s also no truth to it. But I’ll say this, the truth is that I really did call Kim. When we parted ways, there were various stories coming out.”
“Some parties are purposely becoming noisy. This was also the time when my family started getting messages that were below the belt,” he stated.
Xian stated that the speculations went out of proportion to an extent that he could not hold on to it than to release a statement since many people were being dragged into the threats just two weeks that he and Kim separated.
“If I may give an example for the sake of context, there was an instance when they said, ‘I hope your grandmother dies.’ They even brought up her cancer. This was from a supporter whom we know and eventually became like family. It had already gotten way out of hand during the two weeks since we broke up, so I had to give her a call.
This was around November. I was actually begging Kim, saying we should release a statement that we’ve already gone our separate ways, that we separated on good terms without problems. Of course, there were tears, but no ill feelings. I said, ‘Can we just release it? A lot of people are getting dragged into this, including my mom and grandmother.”
I begged her that both of us could release a statement, but she said not yet because they’re doing the press launch of her series. I said, ‘But this isn’t work-related. It’s personal.’ That’s the truth to it,” he added.
Though, he did not mention the actual reason for his break up but said it was no fault of his to have gone separate ways after more than a decade-long relationship.
“We haven’t spoken after I begged for the statement, but we are on good terms. From the time we separated, we were okay,” he added.
In forging ahead, Xian said he would continue his good works as an actor and improve upon his craft.
