Betrayal (Halik) Episode 53 Lino throws Jade out of his house

Maggie cried over her mother’s decision to admit Jade into their humble home. She was scared that the presence of Jade would put the family into trouble.
She said Jade was a bad influence to Lino, through her Lino ended up in jail and now he was involved in a new trouble.
Dolor tried calming Maggie. Paeng called one of his goons to find Joel that night before day break. Gio witnessed the order his dad was giving, suddenly he had a phone call from Maggie but failed to pick.
Maggie then decided to call Bogs instead to let out her frustrations. Bogs said he also did not understand Lino at times but he was a person who always wanted to do the right thing and asked Maggie to support him.
He said he stole from Lino but he gave him a job and was sure Lino wanted to help his wife for her to change for the better.
Maggie was relieved after talking to Bogs. She thanked Bogs for his time. Lino sat in a corner and called Jacky to say sorry to her for raising his voice at her.
Jacky said it was okay she understood him and pledged her support if Lino decided to press charges against Ace for Jade’s accusations, only if it was true.
Jade came out from her room and saw Dolor sitting in the living room. She asked Jade where she was going and she said she wanted to go and check up on Lino but Dolor advised her against it.
The next day, the police came for Ace for questioning. Gio wanted to follow him but he told him to talk to Paeng and Helen to come with his lawyer.
Lino called Jade and she said she would be at the police station. She suddenly had abdomen pains and she climbed on too of her bed. At the station, when Jacky saw Ace’s coming she slapped him.
“You must know where your loyalty is because you are siding with a worthless liar. He might even be a murderer in the making,” Helen cautioned Jacky.
Lino stated that if Helen was referring to him then she should just state it.
Paeng defended his wife and told Lino to thank God that he could walk since he had pity on him the other night.
Lino said they were at the police station and should be mindful when confessing his sins.
When everything was set, Attorney Ken wondered where Jade could be and said they needed her presence.
Lino called her several times but she did not pick since she was feeling dizzy and had taken drugs. Jade was resting in bed.
Paeng got upset that Jade was not coming. They told Ace to tell the truth and he said he did not drug Jade neither did he rape her.
He disclosed that the fight Lino had with him at the bar affected Joel’s business that was why he was getting back at him in making that wild allegations.
Lino interjected that his wife was a liar like him or his entire family. Paeng interjected that if his wife was not a liar why was she not there.
Ace gave Lino Joel’s statement that his fiancée made a false confession. Ace winning the case left with his family happy.
In fury, Lino went home to vent out his anger. He saw Jade at the compound together with Ed and Tet and told his uncle to excuse him while telling Tet to go for Jade’s belongings.
Lino told Jade that he violated him and his family. He dragged her away from the house and said he did not want to set his eyes on her again.
Dolor appeared in the scene to stop Lino. Lino locked the gate of the house but Dolor made him open. Lino went inside to bring Jade’s things out but Ed came for the things while Dolor tried calming Lino.
Lino stated that Jade made him look like a f00l at the police station.
Ace got home, Gio who was worried asked him what happened and he said it was nothing for him to get himself worked out on.
Helen interjected that what happened was that his mistress accused him of rape adding that it was a good thing she had him covered otherwise all hell would have broken at the station.
“Really? Rape?”
“It’s not true Gio that is why I was able to walk free,” the scumbag said.
Helen said that was what was bent to happen if they continued disobeying her and advised Gio not to also give her a headache.
Dolor apologised to Lino for her idea of compelling him to help Jade. She advised him to allow karma to make Jade pay for what she did against them and all her lies.
In order to obstruct her son from his anguish, she urged him to go out with Barry.
As Ken was still not happy with the incident, Jacky was worried about Jade and what Lino could do to her. She later received a call from the hospital and she rushed there.
Jade was about to throw up and Ed had mercy on her to go to her aid, he made Fe present to her a glass of water. Fe told her to make the person who was coming for her come fast but Ed asked Fe to discontinue he action against Jade since she was already suffering.
When Jacky got to the hospital, Mauro was able to identify her to the doctor to exhibit how fast he was recovering later gave Jacky a cold shoulder when she got close to him.
At a point, Jacky thought her step dad would change his crooked ways for the better especially gaining a second chance in life.
Jade carried her luggages out, Tet got there to help her with her things. Jade ran to embrace Dolor and cried that she did not want to go. Lino locked their gate on her as she cried.
Jacky was surprised to see her dad back to his old self. Chari said Mauro would forever remain the same. She then turned to ask about the case and Ken said the case was dismissed due to lack of evidence.
In Tet’s house, Jade insisted that she was raped but Tet told her that she kept running back into the alms of Ace, who was her rapist which would make it difficult for anyone to believe her allegations.
Jade said she was scared and Tet was quick to add that is what she would get for making a mistake.
Lino in a chat with Barry admitted that the incident of Jade was affecting his way of thinking and described her as a pain on the neck.
“Whenever my life is getting better she will come and mess things up. It is like she doesn’t want me to forget about what she did to me, to never move forward.”
Jade kept crying that Ace was a monster and hated him. Tet told her that the manner she was hurt and broken showed that she truly l*v*d Ace.
“The painful thing is whatever Ace is doing to you, how he is breaking you apart right now that is exactly what you did to Lino. Ace threw away all the l*v* you gave him. You were never important to him.”
Jacky went to the hospital to find Mauro forcing to move. He said he wanted to go home, saying if he was forced to stay in the hospital that would be his death and advised Jacky to go and be with Lino.
Jacky was dumbfounded so she left. She later met Lino at where she went to cry.
Lino gave her an handkerchief for her to dry her tears. He told her that it would be over soon but she said she had stopped dreaming anymore.
Jacky said it was hectic to hope to find l*ve in those who would never l*v* you back.

“That’s why I won’t use my heart anymore. I will just use my head I am now done with Jade I am have had enough. It’s all over now, i really thought my heart will still take it but even the slightest bit of an affection is completely gone now. My heart is gone dry, I give up.”
“As for me, I have been stepped on, I have been crushed I think I have already found every pain possible from Ace, from my dad at least you have your mother by your side. You have your friends, you have your co workers they are all there for you,” Jacky cried.
“Those people are there for you too remember that. I promise you Jacky I will always be with you, stop crying.”
