Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 205 Monica and Jacob arrested, Guzman, Girona and Chikoy fight for their life after a bloody gun fight with Joaquin’s syndicate
At the Precinct, Alyana had an exclusive interview with Roy Carreon who reaffirmed his connection with Joaquin due to his ailing daughter. He said Joaquin framed Cardo up just to avenge his father’s death. With Mr Wu, Carreon indicated that he was one of Joaquin’s international clients who had been having a long trade transaction with Joaquin.
Meanwhile, Verna Tuazon stormed NSC media to have a talk with Monica Montenegro. Monica feared that Verna’s presence at her office would make the workers suspect her connection with Joaquin. Verna was there for Monica to tell her where Joaquin was, since Monica claimed she loved her son.
“Yes I l*ve Joaquin that is why I don’t want to make any decision that eventually will lead to his ruin.”
Monica pleaded with Verna to leave, adding that Verna was being paranoid and that might jeopardise Joaquin’s safety. Alyana asked Roy about Joaquin’s connection with Monica Montenegro. Roy said Monica was paid to write a good report that uplifts the reputation of the Tuazon’s to boost their illegal business while disseminating damaging news about Cardo for him to look like the bad guy at the sight of the public.
Monica went to Jerome’s office to inform him that she would use Roy’s confession about Monica in her reportage to discredit Monica. Jerome insisted that untill they obtained solid evidence against Monica all those testimonies would be mere allegations.
“Sir! she won’t be able to deny this one,” Soriano interjected showing them a pendrive.
“What is that?” Girona anxiously queried
“There is a CCTV footage here.”
“CCTV footage of what?” Alyana quizzed.
“Alyana after the word is spread there is a reward for the capture of Joaquin and General Jacob, so many calls are already coming in but they are all false lead just to get the reward but this particular tip is positive Sir.”
They watched the footage of Joaquin and Monica together in a hotel soon after Joaquin was declared dead. Rigor said a security of the hotel presented it. Girona quickly called Cardo to inform him about the evidence that would shut Monica from denying her involvement with Joaquin.
At NSC, the visit of Verna to the place raised eyebrows and the workers together with the editor queried Monica about her involvement with the Tuazons. Monica reassured her editor that they were just rumours and debunked the claims.
One of the journalists in the media rushed to the newsroom informing Monica about Alyana’s report. Monica quickly on the television and saw that she was exposed. Her heart raced very fast. Elsewhere, Delfin has issued a warrant of arrest to capture Monica for questioning.
Seeing the presence of the police at the office, Monica took a different route to escape. She called Joaquin to inform him about the video which showed him and her together.
“Joaquin what should I do?” Monica asked desperately.
“You have to get out of there now!”
“Where are you?” Monica queried.
“Don’t try to come here now,” Joaquin warned.
“Make sure you don’t gonna get caught.”
“But where am I gonna go?”
“I don’t care Monica just leave now!”
“Don’t ever get caught or else…”
“Or else what?” Monica interjected.
“Well then I am warning you if you get captured and you cooperate I’m gonna k!ll you.”
Monica rushed to the parking lot for her car to escape but her intentions to elude justice backfired when Cardo appeared from no where to ask her not to escape as she was now exposed. Billy said she was under arrest for obstructing the arrest and capture of Joaquin Tuazon. In Bilibid Jimboy sold out drugs and Ramil together with his allies ran to Jimboy’s defence when they saw him talking with Don Emilio’s guys.
Monica failed to cooperate, claiming she knew her right and would only talk under the guidance of a lawyer. She had a lawyer but the lawyer made her lose hope when he said one of her charges was conspiracy since she was captured in a video together with Joaquin. That, he declared meant that she was conspiring with him to protect the drug business she was also involved in.
Verna was perturbed after the arrest of the reporter and called Joaquin who seemed unfazed by Monica’s arrest. He assured Verna that Monica would not rant him out as she knew she would die once she defied him to cooperate with the police. Joaquin warned his mom to escape as she would be the next target of the police. Joaquin told Jacob that Monica was only a liability and they did not need her.
In their efforts to boom their business, Jacob informed Joaquin about a Malaysian client he had arranged a meeting with. In Bilibid, Don Emilio, after reading a report of Monica’s arrest blamed himself for his inability to get rid of Cardo once he had the chance.
Ramil was happy that Cardo’s operation in haunting the syndicate members of Joaquin was yielding results. In similar fashion, he said they had to take down Don Emilio’s goons and his drug operations in there. Ramil realised one of the inmates was behaving suspiciously. Although he denied abusing drugs but Ramil found a drug in his pocket. He demanded the guy to reveal the seller to him. Knowing he would be exposed, Jimboy quickly jumped into the guy’s defence.
In a video chat with his wife, Jacob promised his wife that he would settle everything and gather enough to be with her and Albert. His wife lamented how they were in hiding as if they were criminals. Jacob wanted to speak with Albert but his son refused. His wife insisted on him to abandon Joaquin to be with her since a bounty of a million was on his head.
The police made their ammunitions ready to embark on their operation to capture Joaquin and Rogelio after receiving a tip off. They went with Alyana and Pinggoy to cover the operation. Cardo decided to go in first and told his team to follow once they hear a gun shot. He climbed up the high rise building and appeared as a waiter when Jacob was waiting for his special dish.
The waiter opened the lid of the special dish, much to Jacob’s surprise it was two guns. Jacob quickly turned up his eyes and saw Cardo. Cardo pointed the gun at him while the syndicate back up teamed up and pointed their guns at Cardo.
“Cardo you made a mistake of coming in here, do you think you will be able to leave here alive?”
“General what makes you think I intend to leave you here alive!”
“Go on… a wrong move from anyone and I will blow his brains out,” Cardo warns the syndicate’s backup as he tried to walk through with Jacob.
“Nobody moves a muscle!”
“Put down your guns…”
“Get back, get back,” Jacob cried.
As Cardo strangled him from the back, he pulled a fast one on Cardo to slip away from Cardo’s grasp.
“Fire on him,” Jacob instructed his backups. Cardo quickly jumped under the table for cover while the backups kept firing at him. Cardo got a better place to return the shots.
Hearing the sounds of the raffle, the police then rushed in together with their backups, Alyana was forced to wait in the car with Pinggoy. The police were able to k!ll many backups of the syndicate, however, Joaquin arrived there with plenty backups which led to the fall of the police. They were outnumbered so Guzman called Delfin for backup.
The officers now reinvent a new strategy to fight off their foes as they waited for backup. It was a rule of one officer, one bullet to back their zeal of not retreating unfortunately Chikoy, Guzman and Jerome fell down to respective bullets forcing Cardo to do the unthinkable.
Jacob knowing the police backups would soon arrive, he pulled Joaquin, asking them to leave.
“Let’s end it here now I’m gonna k!ll Cardo,” Joaquin unfazed.
Cardo became wild on them after his friends were down, he was not ready to back down. Joaquin had no choice than to flee with Jacob. As their van was ready to leave with them, Jacob stayed in front to ensure the road is cleared for them to join bus. Unfortunately, Jacob got shot on the shoulder by Cardo but Joaquin managed to get seated in the van.
Jacob cried out for Joaquin to help him out but Joaquin kicked him.
“You stay here, you’re a burden unto me old man!” He fled in the van.
Cardo ran after Joaquin’s van to shoot it but Joaquin was lucky and was able to escape. Cardo then pointed his gun at Jacob.
“Please Cardo don’t k!ll me, have mercy on me,” Jacob cried.
“Which mercy?”
“People like you deserve to die.” The police backups reached there and Cardo ordered them to send to whisk Jacob away. Rigor and Vargas were still crying for Guzman, Jerome and Chikoy. As they were sent into the ambulance. Cardo watched the lifeless officers whose body were being displayed.
“Cardo we lost many,” Vargas tapped the shoulder of Cardo as the officers wept.
