Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 589 Diana has a bloody encounter with Arturo’s goons, Mariano proposes to Ellen
The secretary of Arturo came to serve him with coffee. Lily got in and called for a private chat with Arturo. Arturo thought it was about Juan but she said the walls were closing in on him just like Cardo. She wanted them to talk about her elections when Ellen barged in.
She told Ellen to knock before entering Arturo’s office next time. Ellen did not understand Lily’s attitude. Lily left them to have a private talk. Ellen wanted to know what they were discussing because she practically heard Lily describing him as incompetent.
Arturo called for his wife to be thrown out of the palace. As Diana went out to buy food, she came across one of Arturo’s goons. She was able to recognise him as one of their attackers. The hit man called his fellow and he told him that he found Olegario.
He followed Olegario so that she could lead him to Teddy. However, he realised Diana had seen him so she took him on a run. They had a gün fight but Diana spared his life when she had a real chance of ending his life. She saw a moving vehicle and she managed to escape without the günman seeing her.
His fellow arrived and he was informed of the bad news. They decided to hide the truth from Arturo in order for them not to be k!lled like Raymundo. Meanwhile, Cardo and his team saw someone approaching in a vehicle. They quickly fled and got their güns ready to fight the person. Thinking the cops had gotten the place surrounded, on the contrary, Alyana believed Lito was the one.
Cardo was not ready to let his guards down so they still maintained their güns. Maring was scared of what would happen to her husband and her but Dela Fuente told them to remain behind him no matter what. Clarice was also upset with Patrick for not leaving early with her as planned but Patrick shut her up.
Lito and his men discovered that the place was empty. His men believed Cardo and his comrades had already left but Lito believed that was not the case. He already told Alyana that he would come there so he was optimistic to find them. They searched everywhere and opened a door which some of the task force group members were hiding. They pointed a gün at him.
Cardo realised it was Lito and he alerted everyone to put their guns down. They apologised to Lito and they made him join them to eat. Lito told them not to worry because being there means they were under his protection. He assured to have settled everything with the police. One of his goons, exclaimed that everything could be done with money, suggesting that Lito bribed the police.
Diana finally arrived home to inform Teddy and Virgie about her encounter and they remained on high alert. Mariano sneaked to steal a bottle of drink from the kitchen. Meanwhile, Ellen told the secretary to leave her as she would find her way out.
She saw Lily and spoke with her. She then bumped into Mariano when she was admiring the painting in the palace. He asked for her name, making Ellen surprised because she thought the President already knew her name and was aware that she was Judge Arturo’s wife. She introduced herself and Mariano proposed to her.
She acted surprised since he already had a wife. Mariano said it did not matter because if she wanted, he would make her his first lady. One of the guards was coming so he hid with Ellen. He told Ellen to come to his room and left. Ellen thought about what the President said and never knew he could be a play boy.
She was glad that she still had her charms and didn’t mind having a relationship with the President even if it was a game. Lily spoke with Arturo to ask him if his wife would be a problem. She threatened to get rid of Ellen if she became a problem but Arturo assured that Ellen was on their side.
Lily did not understand why Ellen had been coming to the palace frequently while she was taking care of Arturo’s businesses.
Arturo explained that his wife was worried and wanted an update on Clarice. Meanwhile, Elizabeth believed the President was having a psychological problem since he could not recognise them and their names. She believed he had been given the wrong medication.
Oscar woke up and tried to untie himself. He was poised to bring Lily’s wicked plans to an end. Ellen stumbled on the palace servants and Elizabeth asked who she was. She introduced herself as the wife of Arturo and acted so rude when Elizabeth also mentioned her name to her. She ordered a coffee.
She then found Mariano and also admitted her feelings for him and they planned to meet again. Arturo also wondered where his wife was and asked his secretary. He believed his wife was missing since the palace was big. Roxanne was worried about how their safety was compromised.
Though, Lito was backing them up, they had to be vigilant. Maring prepared the favourite food of Lito, karekare and Lito was surprised to find out that Cardo’s favourite was karekare too. Maring received lots of food from Lito’s men and they were ready to serve them.
Diana called her Colonel friend to request for some güns to arm themselves since they were being pursued. Teddy was scared that the Colonel might end up in trouble too but Diana assured that he was not only a good doctor of the military, he was a skillful man who shared a similar ideology with her.
Flora was dying from frustrations. She saw everything Lito was doing as that of Lily’s own and was scared Lito would also betray Cardo. Yolly did not want Flora to entertain such thoughts. She insisted that since Lito was Alyana’s childhood friend he wouldn’t rat her out.
