I never acknowledged six of my children— Paa George
Veteran actor George Appiah Kubi known in the Kumawood industry as Paa George has revealed that he did not acknowledge six of his 12 children.
According to him, the family of the women who he did not acknowledge their children looked down upon him and his career.
Speaking in a recent interview, Paa George stated that some of the parents of the women did not value acting and that made him not acknowledge the children of the women he impregnated whenever he traveled for a concert.
“I remember a concert that we held somewhere. That place, I impregnated one lady and when she sent me to her father to introduce me as one of those who came to hold a concert here, his father threw me out and said he would take care of his daughter and the baby. She was the lady I wanted to marry but when that happened, I also walked out and never returned to even check on the child,” he explained.
Paa George declared no intentions of acknowledging those six children because he did not want to be seen as an opportunist since he was an absentee father and had no hand in the success of those children.
He stated that the remaining six children were from his two marriages and he catered for them, making it difficult for him to even build a mansion for himself.
