Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 624 Lily plans to expose Ellen’s secret affair, Ramil declares intentions to exit Taskforce Agila
Clarice came to inform Cardo to go and eat as she had prepared soup for him so that he could eat and take his medicine. Cardo said he was not hungry and even apologized to Clarice for involving her into his mess.
Clarice told him that he meant a lot to her and convinced him to eat. She was spoon feeding him when Virgie came to lash out at him. Calling him shameless and telling Clarice to stay away from Cardo, otherwise she might end up like Alyana.
Clarice tried to stop Virgie and Virgie told Cardo that she always got upset when she set eyes on him. She walked out while Cardo shared uncontrollable tears. Jerome consoled Cardo.
Lily got upset that Renato was a step ahead of her. Lily blamed herself for not anticipating that because Renato brought Mariano into the palace and now Mariano was completely being used by Hipolito. She said Arturo was also recommended by Renato. Arturo could not believe that Lily was suspecting that he would also betray her.
Lily said she was saying it. Arturo made it clear that he was going through a tough time to think about betraying her and called for level ground. Lily went to her office to tell Augustus that Mariano couldn’t have done that on his own. He was not allowed to go out and believed Ellen had been the one to have contacted Renato.
She deemed it as an opportune time to reveal Ellen’s secret to Aturo. Delfin and the rest of the Task Force arrived after the meeting with James to inform Cardo that Teddy and Diana were being tortured per what James told them.
Clarice indicated that she would talk to her father to release Teddy and Diana. Delfin doubted her father would do that. Virgie kept throwing tantrums that they should go and rescue her husband. Delfin made it clear that her tantrums were not helping. Ramon advised her to allow Cardo and his group to make sound decisions.
Mariano was glad that he was slowly taking full control over the palace with Ellen being by his side. He could not believe that Renato would be his trump card.
Seeing how Teddy was being tortured, Jorge called Arturo to inform him that Ramirez was doing well by torturing them but they might lose Teddy since he had failed to talk. Arturo instructed him to stop Ramirez from torturing Teddy any further. Jorge tried to stop Ramirez but the man said he took his orders from Renato and not Arturo.
Ray called Renato to ask permission to k!ll one of the hostages but Renato hates it that someone would dictate what he should do. He told him to wait for his orders. Arturo told Lily what Ray was doing to the hostages and Lily said they would not allow Renato to use them. They had to stop Ramirez as soon as possible.
The Manager got upset that they would risk their lives to help one guy. Greco and the rest told him that the issue was no longer about Cardo but about Teddy and Olegario. They were sure that Diana and Teddy would have risked their lives for them, if their lives were in danger.
Manager was against that and advised them to join Lito since he had been helping them. They refused to turn against Cardo. He then warned them that they might end up like Alyana, if they wished to follow Cardo.
Jacob spoke with Renato and the latter said he and Mariano conspired to make it seem like he was detained but he was being treated royally and would return as a free man. He told Jacob to contact Lito since he had not heard from him.
Lito wanted everything for himself as an ambitious man. He recalled how he took advantage of the chaos staged by Don Damien’s enemies to k!ll his employer and became the boss. He betrayed Don Damian and took over his wealth and control in his business.
Lito claimed he did all that for Alyana and nothing would stop him from being in charge. He vowed to see the tragic end of Cardo just like he did with Don Damien. Cardo wanted to follow the group in rescuing Teddy and Diana but Delfin said he was not in any condition to help so he should relax, reflect and think about his recovery. He should also let go of Alyana to forge ahead in life.
In his weakest moment, Teddy took a trip down the memory lane to think about his family. The day Alyana became a journalist and JP praised Alyana for seeing her report. Her father saw various reports of Alyana and had no doubts that with time, she would be a renowned journalist.
He also thought of the time she proposed to Alyana to leave Metro Manila to Batangas. He later woke up to tell Diana that he had a dream of Alyana and she was taking care of him. He said that had gingered him not to reveal anything to them. Though, he was influenced by what they did, he tried as much as he could not to spill out the truth.
Andrea Villar realised that Lia was thinking about Albert. She admitted and knew that was what she got for dating an officer. Albert later addressed his team to embark on a new mission to save Clarice and return with the corpse of Cardo.
Arturo sought Lily’s permission to go to the warehouse to dismiss Renato’s men for them to handle their issues on their own. Lily saw it as a great idea as she would also think of the best means to break Mariano from the claws of Hipolito.
She warned him not to also inform Ellen about their next plan because they had to prepare for many revelations which might surface. Ellen went to see Mariano to tell him that the camp of Lily was shaking due to his act with Renato.
The decoy was happy that they were slowly clinging to their dreams and Lily was now seeing that her lies were backfiring.
Cardo went to the room, and could see the reflections of Alyana and the promises they made to grow old and grey together. He wept bitterly thinking about her. Meanwhile, Ramil could not sleep. He reasoned that it was time for him to split from the group to find his life, if the rest had chosen to remain with Cardo at the expense of their lives.
