Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 14 Pato diés after being hit by a car, Ling rejects Bingo’s OPIP project
Bingo was brooding when Snoop asked if his problem was about Ling’s cold act during the dinner. However, that was not the case.
Bingo was rather bothered by what Balong told him concerning his mother, Annie. Snoop couldn’t believe that he still trusted Balong to ask Wilson about his mother.
Bingo explained that he just wanted to verify. Snoop made fun that it could even be possible that he was the son of Wilson. After joking, Bingo searched for Ling and had a talk with her.
He gave her a presence Nene gave him to be delivered to her. Ling told him that now they were done with their deal; her father had given him what she owed and his OPIP project pitch was also scheduled.
She also told him that she hated it when he answered “K” instead of “Okay”. While going home, Bingo gave Snoop his share of the money he gained from Wilson.
Snoop was so happy for the kind gesture of his friend. As Bingo met up with the guy who had a deal with him to donate eyes to him for 200 grand, Ling also received a call from Pato and they agreed to meet.
When the strange guy took the money from Bingo, he now claimed it was a down payment because he was taking 1million for the eyes.
Bingo reminded him of their deal but the goon said prices of things had gone up astronomically so he would no longer take the agreed money.
Bingo snatched back his money from the hands of the goon and the goon wanted Bingo to return it as a down payment but Bingo refused since he did not want the goon to outsmart him.
The strange eye donor said Bingo rather needed something from him so he should mellow. He told Bingo to contact him once he was ready.
As Pato was waiting for Ling with the evidence she promised to give to Ling, a moving vehicle hit her and she diéd before seeing Ling.
Least, did she even know that Ling went against their agreed deal of coming alone. She set Pati up by involving the police. Ling was later informed that Pato was déâd and was believed to be mentally unstable.
Her father was happy that Ling didn’t meet her as she arranged with the deceased. On the other hand, Bingo and Monching had a video chat with a doctor concerning ways they could get a donor for the eye surgery of Nene.
The sad news was that, there were limited organ donors. The doctor explained that many families were against the donation of eyes. The doctor further stated that a celebrity years ago donated her eyes to kickstart such a project.
However, they still did not have donors. The doctor promised to inform them once they got some of the organ. Monching and Bingo decided to prepare to meet such a time.
Monching promised to have a side job to make money to support Bingo. Bingo prepared and went to present his OPIP project to Ling, Irene and Carlo. Irene found the pitch as good, and the project well researched. She clapped for Bingo.
However, Ling found many limitations in the OPIP project and rejected it. Bingo got affected. Caroline was objective in her criticism. Irene was upset and thought Caroline was being a show off.
She requested for the kashama app and Carlo couldn’t hold it. He voiced out that she wanted to imitate Caroline. Irene got offended when Carlo called her a copycat.
She indicated that Ling was a bàstàrd child and even said Carlo was on Ling’s side since both were in the same soup. Ling gave her an incredible speech that silenced Irene and the speech got Carlo laughing.
Bettina was in the kitchen with her mother, Cindy. She was kneading dough. As they were preparing food, Bettina told her mother that she was working to prove to Edward that her brother Charleston was not behind the hacking of GL Bank.
Her mother couldn’t believe that Bettina was siding with her fiancé that Charleston was behind the hacking after Bettina voiced out that they were not aware of the real motive behind the return of Charleston from the United States of America to the Philippines.
Cindy made it clear that Charleston was not behind the hacking and it was not appropriate for Bettina to even trust Edward than her own brother.
Bingo drank himself up because he was not expecting that Ling would reject such a project and decided to cut Ling off his life.
Elsewhere, Ling met up with Stephen and Jersey but she didn’t eat and kept working. Stephen tried to convince her to eat but she skipped the neals.
She told Stephen that her father told his children to come up with a project and she designed a project which they would provide housing for abandoned kids. But, the land she needed for the project was owned by the Liaos.
Stephen advised her to talk to her brother-in-law, Edward about it. After spending time with her friends, Ling was hungry and she made her driver send her to Bingo’s house.
She went to meet Nene and Monching about to eat. Nene prepared rice and ponyfish. Ling joined them and her stomach was trembling. Nene advised her not to skip meals even when she was busy.
