‎Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 38 Bingo has a bitter encounter with his estranged mother Annie, Ling accuses Cindy of k¡ll¡ñg Divine

‎Ling was in a restaurant with Annie and Annie asked how she was able to trace her. Ling indicated that it was not hard in tracing her. Annie told her about how reliable, durable and the maintenance of the Rolls-Royce.

‎Ling asked if she knew Edward Liao but she claimed she didn’t. Meanwhile, she actually knew Edward. A flashback showed that she was the lady with a feather broche who met up with Edward.

‎Edward was working for her and based on her orders, Edward hacked the GLC system to steal the money in order for his family not to be indebted to Annie.

‎Ling learnt that she knew the Tius, especially her mother Divine as she was working with Divine she recalled that Divine was constructing a building for her food business.

‎As they were talking inside, Bingo arrived and was spying from afar. However, he was seen by the receptionist and was thrown out due to his dress code.

‎Ling wanted to know more about her mother. Annie received a call that Pato was released and she lied to Ling that she had other businesses to attend. If Ling had any further information, she could contact her assistant.

‎Before leaving, she told Ling to extend her regards to Cindy and Gina. Bingo was also gallivanting around when Annie’s car almost hit him. He fell down and Annie came out to give him money to seek medical attention.

‎Bingo was surprised to see his mother in front of him. Annie also didn’t know that he was her son. Her chauffeur didn’t want her to give the money to Bingo because he thought Bingo was a street scam but Annie went ahead to give him the money and apologized.

‎Ling texted Jersey that she was right. Annie knew her mother, though, she was there to find out about her connection with Edward but she rather woke up to a new revelation.

‎She suddenly received a call from a contact not familiar with her. As she received the call, it turned out to be Pato. Pato wanted to meet her urgently. She explained that she was abducted but now she was released.

‎Andrei recalled his childhood days when he ran after his mother while it was raining to ask if she was really fleeing due to a debt she owned. She admitted and claimed the money was one million and she couldn’t stay in the house.

‎Bingo was so dumbfounded as he recalled everything and how his mother’s car almost ran him over but couldn’t recognize him.

‎Ling met up with Pato and the woman wanted to tell her all the truth she knew about Divine’s déåth before she would be k¡lléd by her abductors. Ling wondered who they were.

‎Bingo went to a bar and called Snoop over. Snoop was not ready to go due to their early feud. Elsewhere, Bettina reached a deal with Sherwin. She wanted to be the next CEO and wanted him to help her.

‎Bingo noticed a boy who was being abused by his father and the act reminded him of how his mother abandoned him so he fought the person.

‎Ling arrived home and was so furious staring at her family. She recalled her conversation with Pato. Pato had confessed that she witnessed Cindy ordering for the blood to be cleaned up when Divine d¡éd.

‎She watched through the window and saw Caroline alone. She made it clear that Divine didn’t d¡é from su¡ç¡dé but someone actually k¡lléd her and was sure Cindy was the culprit. Wilson knew about it but he had chosen to cover up for the crimes of his wife.

‎She also told Ling that when she arranged to meet up with her, a car ran her over and it was no other than Balong and he abducted her. Ling knew Balong, he was the one who orchestrated her kidnapping and Pato explained that Balong was doing that to take his revenge.

‎He was thirsty for blood because the construction work that caved in belonged to Divine. She went further to reveal that she used to work for the Tius and urged Ling to go to GLC as the workers profile were kept there.

‎Ling indeed went to the office to verify. After recalling all that, Wilson spotted her and told her to join the table for them to eat. Ling confronted Cindy and accused her of murder.

‎She also claimed it was the reason Wilson sold out the apartment of her mother in order to conceal their crimes. She further accused Cindy of abducting Pato because she earlier pretended not to know her whilst she had worked for them before.

‎Cindy kept denying the accusations and wondered why Ling would believe in a total stranger rather than her family. Ling preferred to believe in Pato than criminals. She threatened to make them pay for the crime.

‎Bettina intervened but Ling refused to shut up because Bettina was not the one in her shoes. When Ling left, Irene demanded answers from Cindy who was shedding crocodile tears. She wondered why Cindy couldn’t remember Pato whilst she was her nanny.

‎Bettina claimed that there were plenty servants serving them so it was normal for their mom not to remember Pato. Elsewhere, Bingo arrived home and also told Monching and Nene about his new discovery concerning his irresponsible mother.

‎Ling was crying inside the rain and Bingo got there. She threw a tantrum because she did not want to believe in Bingo again but Bingo made her believe again. Cindy and Gina were also worried as the past was catching up with them.

‎Cindy insisted on Gina to do something since she “was the law.” The investigator finally found documents about Andrei Mariano. He discovered that Bingo completed High School but not College.

‎She saw the pictures and realised her son was the one who her car h¡t. She cried and recalled when she was searching for Andrei after she had an accident and was using crouches.

‎As Ling went to see Aunt Cathy, Bingo also met up with Snoop. Though, his friend was upset with him, yet he told him about seeing his mother who was now known as Annie Al Juffali.

‎Meanwhile, Annie recalled how she attempted to commit sü¡c¡de after no one seemed to know the whereabouts of her son.
