Fists of Fate (Sandugo) Plots and Summary
Fists of Fate with its local title Sandugo tells a story of fraternal twins, Julius Caesar, JC and Aristotle, Aris who grew up separately after their mother, Joan gives Aris for adoption.
Joan sold Aris to raise money to treat JC, a child who is suffering from a congenital heart ailment and in dire need of an operation.
The Reyes family tried their best to earn money for the treatment of JC’s ailment but his time was running out. In an act of desperation, their mother gives up Aris for adoption, receiving a hefty sum in return.
Soon, JC becomes an NBI agent while Aris lives a life of crime and turns into a syndicate leader.
Brought together again by fate, the two unknowing twins’ new relationship is charged with extreme hostility – going head-to-head from opposing sides of the law without knowledge of each other’s true identities.
The two families who are linked by both love and the law, and a disconcerting past marked by poverty and desperation makes JC and Aris, who have been partners through thick and thin as children to become mortal enemies.
A regrettable and heartbreaking decision which leads to the brothers’ separation makes the brothers who once vowed to stick with eachother through tough times grow up working on opposite sides.
Although, the Reyes family struggles financially, Eugene, the father however, does not let his household problems get in the way of his integrity as a police officer.
After regretting her decision to sell Aris off, Joan confesses to Eugene about what she did while he was away. Desperate to take him back, Eugene and Joan resolve to find Dante, the buyer. Aris, meanwhile, manages to escape from Dante when he refused to cooperate with him.
JC and Aris who was once an athlete will face each other from opposing sides of the law not knowing they are brothers. Will they wage war against each other or will their hearts remember that they are brothers of one blood and ended up on opposing sides?
