Love Thy Woman Episode 45 Amanda arrested for K!lling Adam, Review on Adam’s death
At the hearing, Amanda took a stand again and Kai also went into the witness box to narrate her side of the story. She said she went to scold Adam for covering up for Lucy after discovering that she bought her grand son for 5million. She said she threatened to sue Lucy but Adam pleaded on her behalf.
She went to the washroom and heard a gunshot which made her thought of Adam and rushed out to find Lucy holding a g*n, claiming she was after someone but Kai said she did not see anyone.
In the house, Kai doubted Lucy committed the crime against Adam but David said all evidence was pointing at Lucy and before she get out of it, she needed a solid proof. Meanwhile, Amanda confronted Gab for being nervous in the court room and advised him not to go to the next proceedings.
Amanda made Gab handover the original will and testament to her and saw another document on it. She torn it in anguish and scolded Gab for it. She made plans that once Lucy was convicted for life without any proof and the will is read, she would travel with Gab. However, Jia found it weird about how nervous Gab acted during the hearing and believed they were hiding something.
Dana felt so alone and called David in order to talk to Michael but David said Michael was in vacation with Helen. He offered to stay on the line with Dana till she falls asleep since she said she had not been sleeping for days. Dana woke up in the morning and David told her that he had stayed on the line all night and told her they should call a truce so that she could contact him for anything she would need.
David found out that Jia was going to visit Gab and he went with her. On their way, Jia was glad David had been able to keep Dana company all night. David asked if she and Dana could get along as sisters and Jia said they have hurt themselves so bad that they would not be able to do that. She said she would make Dana pay for collapsing RJ&E after the pending issue was resolved.
They came from the van and went to Gab’s house. Amanda was not there and Gab thought Jia was there to spy on him. On the contrary, Jia said she was there to offer him a job at Dragon Empire since they were siblings. Gab said he now had different plans since he did not want to be associated with Lucy and Dana, besides he was sacked by Manny. Gab realised Jia did not know that Manny had sacked him and she also did not know the reason behind Manny’s act.
Gab looked tensed but decided to give his visitors a glass of juice just to calm his nerves, while he was pouring a drink for them, David used that opportunity to take pictures of the documents which Amanda torn and thrown into the trash can.
Dana was at the precinct, telling her mother that Attorney Williams said they needed a footage to support Lucy’s alibi but she was finding it hard to obtain the footage. She assured she was doing everything possible with lawyer to help her mother to be out of the cell. Dana asked Lucy whether she believed Amanda was the one who committed the atrocious crime and Lucy said yes.
David and Jia rushed to the precinct. David showed the pictures of the DNA test result which were torn to Simon. David wondered why Amanda would tear such an evidence so Simon wrote the name with an intention to gain a copy of the test result.
Shortly after, Yalung arrived with the hard drive as the expert was able to retrieve some content on the hard drive and they watched it to find someone in a hood which they concluded was the person who had committed the crime and Lucy was after that person.
The police printed that to prove Lucy’s innocent. Jia said she saw a similar hood and black shoes in the house of Amanda. Dana spoke on phone with David to find out that he spoke to Michael not to inform his exact location, she wanted to have a coffee with him but realised he was with Jia and she got upset.
The police went back to Amanda’s house to search and found the sneakers and Yalung managed to get the original DNA test result of Gab. They conducted a test on the sneakers and the blood on it matched that of Adam Wong while the test results of Gab showed he was not the son of Adam.
Amanda however was hopeful to mislead the investigators again and was also finding means to get the original will posted to Jia without it being traced back to her. The police arrived at Amanda’s place with a warrant of arrest to arrest her for the murder of Adam Wong. In the court, Amanda was charged with Second Degree murder and she pleaded guilty to the charge. Dana went to attack her for k!lling her father but Simon put her under control. Dana stormed out of the court room.
Review on Adam Wong’s Death
Amanda after receiving a call from Gab who was at the DNA test facility holding a copy of the result told her he was not the son of Adam. Amanda then tried to cover up to ensure they gained an aspect of Adam Wong’s will. Thinking Adam was at the Dragon Empire Builders anniversary function, Amanda in disguise sneaked in to Adam’s office when the security was having a coffee break in order to change the original result with a fake DNA test result.
However, she met Adam at his office, working on his will. It was too late for her to run, Adam had already seen her and has also discovered Gab was not his son. Adam wondered what Amanda was doing there as she and Gab tricked him.
“Now my last will and testament includes Gab, thinking and hoping that he is my son but you lie to me,” Adam cried.
“Don’t worry I will change this will right away I will also make a new one.”
Amanda cried and pleaded with him not to change it as all along she had thought Gab was his son. Adam threatened to get Amanda and her son arrested. Amanda said he shouldn’t and should not also change the will. He saw in Adam’s drawer a gun and she took it, pointing it at herself.
She warned Adam not to change the will otherwise she would k!ll herself. Adam tried to get the weapon from her asking her not to do it. They struggled for the gun and accidentally it triggered. Adam was sh0t, to Amanda’s surprise. she then swap the DNA test result and placed the fake one down. She also made away with the original will and testament of Adam.
After the heinous crime, she ran out and saw Lucy coming so she hid. Lucy went straight to Adam’s office to find her husband sh0t. She tried to search for help when she stepped out, Amanda was escaping from the hideout and Lucy saw her shadow and rushed for the weapon to follow Amanda. Kai also came from the washroom and when Lucy almost caught Amanda, Kai interfered.
Seeing the interference as disruption, she stayed back at the sixth floor to watch the two women fighting for the weapon as they pulled the trigger and Kai rushed to Adam’s office while Lucy ran down. Amanda went for the weapon and went to the washroom to flash out Adam’s original copy of Gab’s DNA test. She stayed in the washroom till the next day before she could get out of the building without being seen or noticed.
There were no witnesses until she was arrested and was provided with a lawyer who said there was a strong evidence against her. She later met Gab and told him that she took all the blame so that he could get his inheritance and lead a good life but her hopes were crushed when she was informed that the Police had discovered Gab was not the son of Adam and there was another charge which was being filed against Gab. Amanda cried as Gab tried to console her.
