I’m no longer doing music but God’s work— Shatta Wale unveils new ministry

Reggae/dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has expressed satisfaction in his work and says he is no longer doing music but God’s work.

According to him, the level he has attained in his music career shows the height he has reached  in God’s work, thus called on Ghanaians not to view his Shatta Movement (SM) as a mere musical brand but a ministry.

After spreading cash and bragging about his wealth, the controversial musician stated on United showbiz in Accra last Saturday that God has blessed his handwork.

He explained that the manner people jumped around his music suggested that he was conveying good message that delight the heart of multitude, stressing that “only the word of God delights the heart” hence his reason of doing God’s work.

Charles Nii Armah Mensah as he is known in private life stated that he has excelled and attributed it to his closeness to God.

Shatta Wale unveils new ministry

He maintained that he was one of the key industrial players who was poised to uplift the face of Ghana music to the globe and urged Ghanaians to keep supporting his SM Movement which is now a ministry.

Touching on his tour to the United States of America (USA), he said it was successful although he was asked some difficult questions but answered them to the best of knowledge.

“All my actions are geared towards helping uplift the flag of Ghana high by gaining international funding for our musicians here,” he added.
