Betrayal (Halik) Episode 46 Aliyah reveals her real motive
“I really pity Jade she hasn’t been sitting on your lap for very long but you already find a replacement.”
Lino and his guys packed their things into the car, ready to return to Manila. Celine rushed there to plead with Lino for a favour. Her deco for a groom and bride broke upstairs.
Lino left with Barry to fix wooden deco. Marissa told Jade that she wished she could find someone like Ace in her life.
She urged Jade to keep fighting. Lino promised to repair the wooden tent-like design and told Barry to travel with the rest.
Barry felt hard to leave without his friend, claiming Dolor would be upset for Lino not arriving home on time to celebrate his birthday but Lino said he was not a kid.
Once Jacky woke up, Ken spoke with her on phone to inform her that they had already left.
Jacky went out to meet Lino working on the broken wood design. She was surprised to see him, Lino told her that Ken said he should take care of her.
Jacky wondered if Lino stayed back because of her and he said he stayed because he was fixing the broken piece .
Jacky recalled Lino taking care of her the previous night and said sorry to him. Lino said the sory was enough since they all had fun.
He promised to take Jacky out for a good meal and also buy her medicine for her hangover.
Ace cashed out at the Casino and told Aliyah’s guy that he should inform his madam that he was ready Montecorp deal with her.
Dolor brought Maggie a dress for her outing with Gio. The kids complemented the dress while Dolor said the colour was nice on Maggie. Paeng gave Gio orders on a work he had to do at Montecorp.
He told Paeng that he had to keep an eye on his shop by 5:00pm. Paeng said then he had to start working if only he wanted to leave by 5.
After Paeng left Gio, he said in soliloquy that he had to finish early to make it to his date with Maggie.
Barry and Ken got to the Bartolomes mansion, Ken told Dolor about their intention to throw a surprise birthday party for Lino and asked her to keep it as secret.
Later, Jacky called Ken and asked him why he failed to tell him that Lino stayed behind. Ken said it was not his fault and asked her to blame herself for hanging up on him when he was about to inform her.
Chari told Jacky that she should be happy since she could now have Lino all by herself.
“It’s a blast from the past giving love a second chance so romantic.”
Jacky said enough of the teasing, Lino and her were friends. Ken reminded her that it was Lino’s birthday and she should ensure that they got home in the evening. Jacky almost forgot it.
Lino went tO a restaurant with Jacky. As they were eating, he received a surprised birthday cake. The waiter came wishing him a happy birthday. Lino wondered how he got to know it was his birthday and he said his wife aRranged that surprised present for him.
Jacky said she was not his wife, the Ricafort were there so they overheard the conversation.
They felt sad that Lino did not inform them about his birthday. Lino said he would celebrate his birthday two days time.
The Ricaforts told him to feel free to order anything as part of his birthday present.
Lino said he was too old for parties and was not ready to face birthday party that his workers and family would throw for him.
Jacky sent Lino to a church for him to make a wish. He prayed and questioned why his wife cheated while he never hurt her in any way.
He asked God to help him to overcome the pains, hatred and anguish he felt in his heart.
Jacky prayed that God should help Lino and her overcome their pains, and forgive those who trespassed against them so that they could fall in l’ve again and move on.
Meanwhile, Ace met with Jewellery designer to arrange for a promise ring.
As they were waiting for their car, Jacky passed a comment that the heart is fragile and it breaks so easily but she said her mom’s heart was very strong since her heart shuttered when she was young. She fought till she wanted to give her heart a rest.
Lino said Jacky could lean on him. Ace came home when Jade asked about his meeting, he acted so coldly.
The action send shivers to Jade, Ace then knelt before her and brought out a ring.
“Jade will you marry me?”
“Yes, yes, yes a million times.” They hugged with Jade so excited.
Gio received another set of documents that Paeng said he should go through. He remembered what Ace said to him and decided to leave but another thought strike him.
Paeng said he should forget about girls and plan his future, he then turned to continue the work.
Maggie received a message from Gio asking her to wait. After hot $e× that followed the proposal, Jade said she felt like she was dreaming.
Ace told her that he wanted to use the bathhouse, he used that opportunity to attend to Aliyah’s message which she said now they should meet to discuss about business.
Ed was upset that Gio stood Maggie and said his time meant a lot to him when he was courting Fe. Dolor defended Gio, saying he was caught in a heavy traffic.
As they were talking, Gio arrived, Ed went to open the door once Gio asked of Maggie he replied that there was no Maggie living there and shut the door on him.
Dolor found the action of her brother as rude but he kept saying it was late. Maggie appeared in the scene and Dolor asked her to open Gio.
Gio apologised to Dolor and Maggie and requested for second opportunity to make it up to her.
Maggie told Gio not to try to impress her, saying she is a simple girl. Lino and Jacky arrived. Jacky said sorry to him for leaning on him on their way home.
She said she was feeling cold. Lino told Jacky that her heart is strong so she should keep that in mind. They hugged and parted ways
When Jacky went home, she convinced herself that she could go through her challenges.
The next day, Mauro introduced Paeng as the COO of Montecorp. He told the workers to applaud Paeng for betraying his own son to make Montecorp work again. He deemed the act as courageous.
Meanwhile, Jade was flingin around with the finger which she had the ring on. During meal with Marissa she only used the left hand which had the ring to take a glass of Juice, to demand things, she used the same hand to rob her face, saying she had a headache.
Later her plans worked, Marisa noticed the rock on her finger. Due to it sparkling nature she wore spectacles to watch it well.
She was so happy and Marissa said now that she had seen that diamond sparkling on her finger she also wished for some.
Jade was surprised since she knew Marissa was having a ring which was more sparkling with pure diamond than hers.
Marissa said yes but she meant that she wished to have a new guy in her life to give her such ring.
Jade said she had a job interview and Marissa said she had a successful man by her side and did not need to work.
Jade said she was used to working and wanted to earn her own money. Marissa told Jade to think about changing her name.
Jade felt happy to be engaged to Ace. Meanwhile, Ace went to the casino to meet Aliyah.
Aliyah strike a deal with Ace to make him get Montecorp and also make her get a place in there.
She explained that she wanted to revenge a man of her past. He told Ace to convince Jacky to sell her shares to her. She would later hand over Montecorp to him after using Montecorp to revenge the person.
Ace was scared that she would double cross him but she assured him of her words.
Ace tried k!$$ing her, she resisted and flirted around him. Ken asked Chari about the new guy at her work place.
She said the guy was in a long term relationship and she had no intentions to be the other girl.
Ken said she was right and she should not accept that other girl’s position. Jacky realised they were talking about Jade and asked them to stop the negative vibe.
Suddenly, Ace called, Chari told Jacky not to receive but Ken said it might be about the annulment so she should receive it.
She received and put it on a louder speaker, Ace said he needed to discuss important matter with her.
After contemplating, she went to meet him and she asked him what he wanted to discuss that could not be told on phone.
He said he knew someone who wanted to buy her shares but Jacky said she would never do that mistake to sell her shares off to a liar like him.
Ace said he was not the one buying, Jacky asked whether his new fling was the one buying.
“Let me guess your new flavour of the month. I really pity Jade she hasn’t been sitting on your lap for very long but you already find a replacement.”
“I am telling you, don’t you ever call me Ace.”
Jacky walked out on him and Ace sat quietly feeling all embarrassed.
