Betrayal (Halik) Episode 99 Jade finally granted bail while Jacky, Baste realise Aliyah fakes her death
In the Corpuzes mansion, Paeng was desperately looking for documents that could help him secure the Corpuz’s asserts and was being assisted by Helen before their fear comes to pass.
Ace came in and threatened Helen to back off from Jade’s case otherwise the Corpuzes would lose him as a son.
Helen was upset that Ace was not thinking about the problem the family was encountering but his concentration was rather on Jade.
Gio who saw the misunderstanding between Helen and Ace felt sad that he was the reason behind the fight. Although he l*ved his family so much but was left him with no choice than to betray them.
Dolor decided to organise a party for CJ and asked Lino to invite all those who helped them in their worse times. Lino texted Ken, Barry, Chari and Jacky, inviting them to CJ’s party.
Jacky who was eating in a restaurant with her friends after receiving the text told her friends that she would not be able to attend and urged them to go without her.
She passed by the mall and bought a gift for them to give to Lino and CJ. Barry, Ken and Chari got to the party and they gave the present to Lino. Lino opened the box and it was a T-shirt with inscription “Mini-Me” and “Me”. Lino wore the “Me” and CJ wore the “Mini-Me”.
They snapped pictures and sent to Jacky. Jacky was so happy to see the pictures and was glad that Lino was smiling after a long time of being sad. She received an email from the mysterious caller informing her to look through Mauro’s drawer and would find some documents. Maggie also shot pictures and sent them to Gio though Bogs was not happy with Maggie’s action she tried to explain.
At that time Gio was already at the gate of the Bartolome residence, he then saw the pictures. Lino spotted someone at the gate and he went to check the person. After seeing it was Gio he invited him in.
Bogs was not happy to see him but Gio managed to stay with his hatred. Jacky went through the office documents and called Baste for help. She said they should meet the next day and shouldn’t inform anyone especially Lino.
The party was over and Lino could not stop telling his son how much he l*ved him. Dolor also said good night to them.
The next day, Jacky made Baste used a laptop to send an email to the strange person. Aliyah called Jacky and she insisted they should meet. Jacky said she should tell her who she was first but Aliyah said they would work on her terms.
Jacky stated that she needed her since she was the one who had been contacting her, obviously it meant that she needed her.
Unknown to ALiyah, Jacky had made Baste to track the mysterious caller’s location so they left to check on that person.
Jade was set free and had a fight with her inmates so the inmates curse her that she would soon join them in there. Jade later discovered that CJ was with Lino. Ace scolded Ruby for handing CJ over to Lino but she said Lino found her and there was nothing she could do.
She then advised Jade to sort things out with Lino after learning the truth about the actual incident. She warned Jade that Ace might betray her again as he had done it before.
Jacky reached the destination and saw Aliyah standing in her balcony. She looked shocked after watching her in her car.
Jade barged into the Bartolomes apartment calling out their name for war. Fe was her first target name. She yelled that she wanted her son back. Lino made them bid farewell to CJ and went down to give the baby to her.
She told Lino that he had failed for thinking she would rot in that hell home. Lino gave her a pack of diaper and gave her a bag of all the necessary things including vaccination appointment in the bag.
Jade looked surprise about how Lino didn’t fight but acted so calmly. Jade took everything Lino gave her and left with CJ. The family then came out and Lino promised to get CJ back. Dolor was very sad.
Baste and Jacky kept watching Aliyah before her care taker sent her inside her room. Baste believed she faked her own death. Jacky promised to hatch up a plan to discover what Aliyah was up to after making everyone believe that she was dead.
Lino was impressed with the pictures Baste shot during the party and said he would print them to make an album.
Dolor asked whether he meant they would only see CJ in a photo album and Lino said he would not allow that to happen.
Marissa played with CJ. She then asked Jade the person who paid for her bail and she said Ace did. Jade pointed out that Ace was the only person she could rely on. Marissa believed Ace did that on purpose, he might be interested in her. Jade admitted that Ace had confessed his feelings for her.
Meanwhile, Ace’s attorney advised him to stop funding Jade otherwise his case would worsen when it is used against them in court.
Jacky started looking for documents to ensnare Aliyah. Chari told Jacky to get the police involved and Jacky said she did not want the police to have any issue with Mauro.
Mauro reached there and overhead the conversation. He asked why he would get into trouble with the police. She made Chari excused them and asked Mauro what he was keeping. Mauro finally realised the issue had to do with Aliyah and he said he did not have hand in Aliyah’s father’s death.
Jacky asked if he had nothing to do with it why was he constantly being accused of the death.
Baste informed Lino and Barry about Aliyah faking her own death. She said Jacky believed she was trying to do something against her family and the Corpuzes.
Lino was scared for Jacky and wanted to assist her handle the situation. Baste asked him to relax since Jacky did not want her to inform him about it as Lino had lots in his plate.
Barry told Lino that Jacky could handle it, she had Ken and Chari. Ace went to the club and met Joel who returned from overseas. It could be recalled that Joel was the friend whose girlfriend informed Jade that Ace drugged her on their first night and shot the video which became a scandal.
They patched up and Ace said Joel only withdrew his statement from the police concerning him raping Jade after Helen paid him huge sum of money.
They then said enough of the past and wanted to leave the past behind. Ace asked Joel for help to be out of the country. Joel asked whether the situation was that bad for them to run off since the Corpuzes had always get away from any situation.
Ace said that was a backup plan. Joel told him to show him the money and would help him reach his uncle for a private jet.
Marissa visited Jade and the later seemed bothered by the charges against her. Marissa said Jade was a tough cookie and called Jade a fighter since she was still fighting after being in jail.
Jade admitted being a fighter and promised not to back down. Ace called Jade but she didn’t reply and texted him instead, saying she was putting CJ to sleep.
Lino called Jacky and told her that he hoped she didn’t mind about Baste informing him about Aliyah. Jacky said it was okay and told Lino not to worry about her.
She heard a knock on her door, she asked Lino to hold on as someone was at her door. She went to open and was surprised to see Lino being in her unit already.
Meanwhile, Helen went to the club to explain to Ace her side of the story. She said she was sorry and asked Ace to forget about what happened. She could not bear living without her son.
Ace accepted and asked her to help him out of the country with Jade and CJ. He said he would not fool himself since his chances of winning the legal suit was slim.
Helen promised to use her contacts to ensure Ace escape prison and Ace was happy. Jacky who sent Lino inside her room confessed that she believed Mauro was hiding something. She said Aliyah’s father committing suicide with Mauro looking so anxious with it get her scared.
She was scared that Mauro was the old Mauro but Lino told her not to get scared as he was there for her. Jacky lean on his chest.
Barry and Ken met to drink and wondered the guards Jade and Ace had to file a counter suite.
Helen met with her goon and asked him to find evidence against Jacky and Lino. He charged her goon to be creative if he did not get any solid evidence against the two. She gave him huge money to kick-start the job.
