Bishop Bernard Nyarko’s mother cried over her son’s death allegation as they observed one week celebration
The mother of the Late Kumawood actor, Bishop Bernard Nyarko has expressed grievances on how some Kumawood stars blamed her for the sudden demise of her son.
According to her, Bishop Nyarko refrained her from accepting visitors due to his ail condition.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with the media during the one week celebration of Bishop Bernard Nyarko yesterday in Accra, Maame Yaa Konadu explained that she had no reason to keep her son from his loved ones.
She said Bishop Nyarko cried to him, to desist from allowing his colleague actors and actresses who wanted to visit him.
Maame Konadu stated that her son grew lean and was scared that one of his colleagues would secretly take pictures of him and spread it on social media.
She bemoaned that she had not been in her right frame of mind ever since her son passed away and had no power to contradict her son’s wish, adding that she had four children and Kwame Nyarko was her favourite among them.
“Big Akwes and Dada Santo accused me of murdering my own son who will bury me one’s I kick the bucket. I cannot kill my own son,” Maame Konadu cried.
She narrated that one’s she heard the sickness of her son, she took a flight from where she was and came to the country to support her son in finding a professional who could help in his recovery.
Maame Konadu admitted that the health professionals conducted various operation on the late actor and his situation got worse each day.
She further stated that she did everything in her power to ensure her son survive from the mysterious ailment but the more they tried the more the situation got worse.
“I have not winked an eye, neither have I slept when I came into the country, I sent my son to various clinics including private hospitals and at a time I had to hire the services of a private doctor. There were times I had to book expensive hotel rooms for my son to sleep there to speed up his treatment but all to no avail,” Maame Konadu wailed.
She posited that she could have done everything to boost her son’s recovery, adding that “I even planned to sell my house to invest the money in Kwame Nyarko’s treatment, in fact i could have replaced my life with that of my son if it was possible.”
Maame Konadu urged Ogyam, an actor to refrain from adding more plight to what she was facing, saying “Ogyam said he would kill me for the death of my son.”
