Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 712 Samuel calls a truce with Cardo, Armando declared intentions to venture into politics
Samuel and Lucas came to apologise to Cardo and called a truce. Since they buried the hatchet, they shook hands and proposed to Cardo to transfer to their rooms.
Armando met up with the rest of the group to warn them against fighting Cardo. He explained that he partnered with Cardo’s group for them to become allies. He told them that Cardo and his team were not their enemies but Don Ignacio was.
He said they should channel their hatred towards Don Ignacio. Cardo and his group settled in the rooms of Samuel and his lackeys. Per her experience, Roxanne warned them against trusting Samuel.
She believed that he was doing that to win their trust and there might be a hidden agenda. The group then began searching the room for any trap but found nothing. They now believed that Samuel was sincere as he might have been compelled by Armando to apologise.
Samuel had told the group that he revealed to Armando that he started the fight so Cardo’s group believed they were ashamed by Armando’s response to the situation. Unbeknownst, Samuel was indeed trapping them by winning their trust and strike when they least expected as revenge.
Cardo’s group was hungry and wondered if they would be served. Diana saw lots of foodstuffs so she decided to cook for them. As Mara and her father and mother were eating, she talked about the death of Dahlia and insisted on them k!lling Don Ignacio.
She also reminded her father that their group and Cardo’s group were fighting different causes so the former Taskforce might turn their backs on them. Elsewhere, Oscar told Ambo that he would teach on what to say to the business men and he would not do that for him but for the people of San Andres.
Armando thought of what Mara said and told Lolita that Mara was right to say Cardo might go against them and they had to prepare themselves for that. He was planning not to be poor again so he wanted to k!ll Don Ignacio and take over his properties.
After that, he would venture into politics and become a great man in the North. He noted that they were rich at the moment but lacked power. To him, once he acquired power, he would protect his wealth and become the only influential person in the North.
Cardo was also thinking about Flora and the kids. He was scared that the safety of his grandmother had been compromised and wanted to go for them to settle in Armando’s place so that they could be reunited with them. He was planning to seek Armando’s permission to do that but the group rejected it.
They believed Flora and the kids would slow them that once their hideout was discovered so they had to remain where they were. Cardo then told Delfin to give him permission one of those days to visit Flora and the kids.
Meanwhile, Thalia spotted a strange man spying on Don Ignacio’s property and she dispersed the guards to go after the person. However, her men couldn’t capture the person and she went to inform Don Ignacio.
Mara cried over the deàth of Dahlia and promised to avenge her deàth by k!lling Don Ignacio. Don Ignacio believed the person could be Cardo and wanted Thalia to get rid of Cardo and bring his head. Eduardo said Thalia was no match for Cardo and knowing how Cardo operated, he wanted Don Ignacio to make him do that job.
Samuel went to inform Armando about calling a truce with Cardo and as part of his peace offering, he offered their rooms to him as their place was more spacious. Lolita was surprised but Armando was glad that he had patched things up with Cardo.
Since Omar had recovered, he wondered what Cardo would now do to him. Delfin proposed they send him back. Omar said there was nothing to go back for since he lost his wife and unborn child. He also believed the bounty on Cardo’s might make him as a target if he left the place so he did not mind staying with the group.
As Lily was optimistic that Hernandez would endorse her, Hipolito was called by PNC journalist,
Danica Escriba to interview him. Hipolito was glad, least did he know that Danica had also called Lily to inform her that she wanted to interview her and Hipolito. Lily declined as the interview might turn into a car fight so she requested herself to be done one-on-one.
Omar was still plotting in his mind on means to get rid of them. He decided not to go to sleep with them and would rather lay on the couch. The group of Samuel told him that Cardo fell for his act.
Lolita did not understand why Samuel had chosen to go against the orders of Armando. Armando said he would get rid of him, if he turned Cardo against them. Samuel was boasting that he would bëåt Cardo, but the group reminded him of how Cardo mercilessly beat him and Lucas.
Lucas claimed Cardo was lucky and the next time he wouldn’t be lucky: he would beat him for Cardo to look beyond recognition. The following day, the Taskforce woke up to find Omar already awoke and was cleaning. They called him for breakfast.
Mara joined her parents on the table and saw a fancy breakfast. She wondered what they were celebrating and her mother said they would now be having such breakfast because they would not go back to their old lives again.
Mara was surprised since her father said they would go back to their old peaceful life after they got rid of Don Ignacio. He even assured to donate their wealth to the less privileged. Lolita wondered what her daughter was talking about. She made it clear that they would not return to their old poverty life.
Armando declared his intentions to venture into politics. He said he was doing it for the people, much to Mara’s surprise. Meanwhile, Danica went to the palace to conduct the interview. She was supposed to interview Hipolito first.
This did not sit down well with Lily, so she went to question her and she said Hipolito was leading the survey and she scheduled the interview first with him before she called Lily.
Lily got offended and thought it was her network policy but Danica said it was not the case. Hipolito was informed about the presence of the journalist and he sent one of the PSGs to call her. Lily then told Augustus to fetch for Mariano for them to wait to be interviewed.
