Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 16 Irene quits working at Shei Wei Tian Restaurant, Charleston goes berserk after his father accuses him of hacking the GL Bank
Wilson while leaving his daughters behind advised them to give Cathy the needed respect like how he and their mothers gave her.
He was expecting his children to make up even if they had separate mothers. Ling promised her father that she would take the training seriously.
While she saw the good response from Ling, Irene also promised not to let their father down and she would pass the training with flying colors.
Cathy showed them around and gave them the rules of Shei Wei Tian Restaurant. She told them that during working hours, they would have to put on their work clothes.
The two were also supposed to sleep in the same room. Irene was uncomfortable with that. Whilst Ling was busy, Irene slept on the bed and didn’t leave a space for Ling to sleep on.
Ling had no choice than to sleep on the couch. Elsewhere, their father was worried about his children but Cindy believed they were fine.
Cindy talked with Bettina to stop her investigation she and Edward were carrying on Charleston. Bettina did not understand why her mother wanted her not to find the hacker.
Cindy was scared that Charleston would be exposed, if he was the actual brains behind the hacking. She did not want her son lose his integrity.
The following day, Cathy woke them up early in the most noisy way. Irene was unhappy but they prepared for work. They washed bowls, chopped vegetables, Irene who had been attending to customers was rather glued to her phone.
Cathy came to seize her phone and warned her that there were no phones needed during working hours. Bingo and Snoop sold Spring rolls before they would go for the things for the delivery.
Ling called to find out if her meeting with the Liaos would push through. She was not ready to give up the land for Irene. Edward was called by his secretary and was informed about the presence of Ling the other time and how she even followed to see him.
Edward wondered if Ling caught him with Jaime. Gina was provoked that Wilson had made Cathy train Ling and Irene. She believed the act of Wilson was not a punishment as he was making it appear to be because Cathy meant a lot to him.
She believed that Wilson wanted to train his both daughters to make them take over the family company. Carlo doubted because Cindy was not even happy that Irene was at Cathy’s place.
Since Dara was not there, Bingo and Bougie couldn’t pull the online cloud to do the selling.
Snoop saw a job opportunity and Bingo decided to go and pitch his OPIP project at Jamie’s free seminar. After Bingo registered, Snoop also wanted to register. He used fake details but Bingo was against it.
Snoop got upset and left. Meanwhile, Irene also got overwhelmed with the job and resigned. Caroline tried so hard to talk her out but she refused to stay most especially, she found it annoying to be at the same place with Ling.
Wilson had a meeting with his investigators and they confirmed that the hacking was an inner job. As Irene was leaving, she tripped and bumped into Snoop.
Snoop slipped on an animal poop and realized the person he held was Irene. Irene also stepped on the poop and acted up. Her driver arrived and even blamed Snoop but he said he didn’t do anything.
Wilson realised that Charleston was the one who stole the GL Bank money and confronted him. Charleston went berserk and destroyed everything in his room due to the lies against him.
Bingo spotted Ling sitting and sleeping on the streets. He was in a dilemma, didn’t know whether to approach or not. He approached and before he could touch her, Ling had a call and Bingo distanced himself.
Ling was informed by her Nanny that her brother was accused of stealing. He was destroying things in his room. As Bingo was waiting for Ling to approach and apologize, but to his dismay Ling left.
Her car approached and she rushed home. While on her way, she called Charleston but he didn’t pick up and called her father instead. She told Wilson that her brother couldn’t steal and made it clear that she was on her way home.
Wilson told her not to but she said she wanted to support Charleston, hence was coming. As Bingo came across Snoop and they made up, Irene arrived home to find the chaos in the house.
Elsewhere Bettina revealed to Edward that Charleston was the mastermind of the hacking at the GL Bank. Edward made it clear that he had already informed her that Charleston could be the brains and wasn’t surprised about the development.
Bingo made it clear to Snoop that he wanted him to succeed in life but didn’t want him to use dubious means to gain that. Snoop reminded him about how Ling was equally his friend but when she turned down his OPIP project, he was not happy about it.
Bingo went home and he told his family about seeing Ling. He stressed that she was dozing on the streets. Ling arrived home and spoke with Charleston who showed her Jaime, de Guzman the hacker the unknown person used his services to hack into the GL Bank.
