Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 19 Edward d¡és mysteriously, Charleston celebrate with Carlo over a successful mission
Before Ling could talk, Edward appeared and had his soon-to-be wife serenaded. Elsewhere, Gina had an outburst over Wilson’s act of keeping things secret from him.
She wanted her son to be the heir but Wilson had not sidelined her son and wondered why she was acting up. Bettina came clean with Edward by informing him that she followed him to the place he went.
Edward explained that it was his family house. Long met up with Bingo to pay off her debts and also gave him some pocket books for Nene.
Ling went to see her father to talk to him about his decision about Charleston and wished he would be more considerate as Charleston wouldn’t do anything to hurt him.
After receiving the pocket books, Gramps had a video chat with Ling to thank her for the gesture. Charleston and Carlo met. Charleston ordered Carlo to look into it. It was confirmed that Edward financed that Tech and Limit IT Company which Jaime was working there.
After they joined the pieces, Carlo concluded that Edward was the brains behind the hacking. Charleston decided to take it from there. Bingo gave 2,500 to Snoop as his share of the money Ling paid him for his work.
Ling cleaned the restaurant and Cath gave her a break since the following day was the wedding of her half sister, Bettina so she gave Ling time to rest and help her sister.
Bettina received her wedding dress and lots of things. She took pictures with her family and Edward called. She had a video call with Edward. Though, they were not allowed to see each other, he wanted to talk to her and wished her well.
He couldn’t wait for their honeymoon and was glad that she would be Mrs. Liao. Bettina reminded him to take his vitamins. Elsewhere, Snoop talked to a mute vendor and the mute was able to interpret the video to him.
He rushed to see Bingo to inform him about what the mute vendor said concerning the plot of Edward and Jaime scheming to throw Charleston to jail. Bingo also zoomed the video and realized from their lips the exact interpretation the mute gave to the video.
He quickly called Ling and when it was not going through, he and Snoop rushed to see Ling and found her leaving the restaurant. They informed her of what they discovered.
Ling knew that Edward was full of schemes. Elsewhere, Edward met up with an unknown person to inform the person about the job he delivered in hacking the GL Bank without being traced.
Charleston was stuck in traffic when Ling called. He had already discovered Edward’s secret and was on his way to confront him. Ling tried to stop him but he hung up the call to confront a certain driver behind him for his impatience while they were stuck in traffic.
Ling did not want Charleston to meet Edward so she decided to go to Edward’s office while Bingo went to Charleston’s work place.
On the other hand, Irene went to Bettina’s room in search of him but didn’t see her. As Bingo arrived, he couldn’t find Charleston and asked for a description at a wedding event center. His motorcycle broke down.
Edward spoke with a wedding planner. Elsewhere, Bettina cried uncontrollably in her car. She went to a bar to drink whiskey.
Ling saw Edward’s car. She went to the venue and Bingo decided to go there. He was able to repair his motorcycle and went to find Ling. As they were talking, they heard screams and they rushed to find Edward’s body.
He was on the ground and in a pool of blood. Ling was surprised. Carlo met up with Charleston and he assured that he had done what he had to do. Bettina arrived home and Irene asked where she went because she looked distraught.
Irene discovered that her nail was broken and sent her to her room in order to fix it since it was her wedding the following day. She was later informed about the sudden déåth of her fiance.
