Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 20 Bettina is arrested over the murder of Edward, Gina works in the dark to disinherit the children of her rivals
Ling rushed home to find Irene. She asked about Bettina and Irene warned her to leave her alone because Edward was déâd. Her father and Cindy were in a rush.
Ling said she wanted to talk to Bettina but Cindy stopped her, claiming she was sleeping and should let her. Blaza, a police officer came to inform Stephen about the scratches he found on Edward’s corpse.
That proved that he was mürdéréd. As the family of Bingo were concerned about Ling, she was also having episodes. Nene called several times and Ling after hesitation finally picked to talk to her.
Wilson called Charleston to come home. Ling told him that Charleston was really mad at Edward and was unaware if he was responsible for what had happened.
Elsewhere, Charleston and Carlo were having shøøting training with Gina who wanted them to hit the target, a bird. Monching and Bingo watched the news of Edward’s alleged suicide but the news also brought the possibility that someone might have k¡lléd him.
Cindy was devastated watching the news of Edward’s murder on her tablet. Gina wanted to follow her son everywhere but Carlo didn’t want to. She advised her son to be with Bettina to console her.
Bingo called Ling and promised to find Charleston for her since Ling had not been able to reach him. Bingo was already outside Ling’s house so she stepped up to meet him to give all the possible locations of Charleston for Bingo to search for him.
Irene fixed the broken nail of Bettina and changed the colour. They later went to the wake of Edward. Seeing Edward in his coffin, Bettina broke into tears. She tried getting closer to Marietta.
She tried to avoid her and vowed to find the culprit who mürdéréd her son before entertaining anyone. The police broke into the place and Ling tried stopping them but they arrested Bettina and sent her to the precinct for questioning.
Cindy tried talking to Marietta to withdraw the charges but the woman failed to do it. Cindy tried to make her understand that their family would be involved in a scandal but Marietta refused.
Cindy knew she wanted them to dig up the skeletons. Ling was able to reach Charleston and told him about the déåth of Edward and how Bettina was being blamed for it.
Charleston did not like that Bettina was being blamed so he left Gina’s house to return home. Ling then called Bingo who was in Pampanga searching tirelessly for Charleston to abort the mission.
Irene wanted to go out and get drunk but Ling didn’t let her. She issued a warning to the security not to allow Irene to go out because their father ordered for them to be inside.
Cindy while in the car with her husband and Bettina made a call to the media to cover the name of her daughter. Bettina also recalled the call she received from Liv informing her that Edward was behind the hacking. She indicated that the hacking was planned for a long time.
Bettina went to confront Edward and called off the wedding. She warned him not to follow her. She hit him and her nail broke. Bettina after recounting told her parents and assured that she was not the one who k¡lléd him.
Charleston arrived home and assured Ling that neither him nor Bettina were behind the act. Wilson arrived home and told Irene to stop drinking while she told Ling to return to Aunt Cathy’s place.
Gina told Carlo how she would disinherit the children of Wilson to make Carlo to be the heir. The police found a broken finger and ran a DNA test on it.
At Binondo, Bierna was fast asleep in the corridor and Bingo began to hit silvas together in an attempt to wake her up. He then recalled that he saw Bettina at a bar closer to the church when the church clock chimed.
