I have never been arrested nor assaulted Angelo with unregistered gun—Stonebwoy refutes claims
Reigning Reggae/dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla known by his stage name Stonebwoy has refuted claims that suggest he pulled gun and attacked Sarkodie’s manager, Angel Town which eventually led to his arrest.
According to him nothing of that sort happened during the recording of the “Black Love” concert and entreated the public to discard the news.
News circulated yesterday on a blogging site, Browngh claiming the artiste was arrested for possessing unregistered fire arm and for assaulting Angel Town.
The news also highlighted that Stonebwoy was in custody undergoing investigation after being arrested on Friday at East Legon.
However, in a recent post from his Twitter handle, he emphasised that the news was false and was written from the figment of the writer’s imagination.
The “Putuu Prayer” hitmaker explained that although there was misunderstanding between Angel Town and him but it was not a conflict that would lead him to go to an extent of attacking the manager with a gun
, knife or any other weapon to put the country in a state of chaos.
“A few days ago at the recording of my own brother, Sarkodie’s black love concert we all went out there to show love in high spirit to ensure he achieve greatness and there was little misunderstanding between Angelo and I,” he said.
Stonebwoy further stated that “There were no guns, no knives, no one sent nobody to attack anybody at the incident, so I beg kindly, don’t believe anything that you hear online or see on social media.”
He observed that a peaceful environment, love and support helps to develop a nation and individuals, thus urged the public to be an advocate of peace.
“We have to make sure we live in love, we have to continue supporting one another and we have to make sure we live in peaceful environment so that we can all drive and grow,” Stonebwoy added.
He also apologised to Angel Town and Sarkodie for the unfortunate incidence and appealed to the public to still believe in the Bhimnation brand as he was not a trouble maker.
In showing love and support to others for them to grow in the industry, Stonebwoy encouraged his fans and the public to register at Ceek.com to enjoy the virtual concert for free.
He added that Putuu would be played live, thus there was no need for his fans and the lovers of Putuu song to miss the show.
The show dubbed “Black Love Concert” would kick-start on Sunday August 16 to entertain Ghanaians and the world.
The virtual concert which was supported by ceek would see the presence of top class artistes including Efya, Yaw Sarpong, Joey B, Shatta Wale among others and it is spearheaded by the multi award winning rapper Sarkodie.
