List of NPP Chairmen of Parliament and MPs who lost the Parliamentary Primaries
The New Patriotic Party(NPP) today decided on the party’s Parliamentary personalities who will compete with their competitors from the National Democratic Conngress (NDC) in this year’s general elections.
The delegates were to represent the 168 Constituencies in parliament.
There were 374 delegates who competed, among them, some came as winners while others came as losers.

Chairman of Parliament’s Finance Committee Dr Mark Assibey Yeboah has lost the primary elections in his constituency.
Chairman of Parliament’s Communications Committee Frederick Opare Ansah could not win the elections.
Chairman of Parliament’s Education Committee William Quaitoo lost the elections.
Chairman of Parliament’s Legal Affairs Committee Ben Abdallah also lost the elections.
Chairman of Parliament’s Government Assurances Committee Collins Owusu Amankwaah lost as well.
Chairman of Parliament’s Youth and Sports Committe Alex Agyekum also lost.
Vice Chairman of Parliament’s Agriculture Committee Abraham Odoom, Vice chairman of Parliament’s Roads Committee Kofi Brako and Vice chairman of Parliament’s Trade and Industry Committee Ato Panford all came home with bad news as they lost the elections.
So far nine chairmen and vice chairmen lost in the elections and still counting.
Aside these chairmen losing, about 10 other Member of Parliaments (MPs) including Ahmed Arthur, Nana Akua Owusu Afriyieh, Vincent Sowah Odotei, Okyem Aboagye, Joe Mensah, Ama Sey and Kennedy Kankam have lost their seats to their contenders.
