The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has appealed to Ghanaians to fully support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to build a fruitful nation for the people.
According to him, the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has proven his competent nature as a great nation builder, hence deserved additional four years.
Addressing the NPP National Delegates Conference today in Accra, Dr Bawumia indicated that the former president John Dramani Mahama has nothing good to offer and stressed the need for him to be voted against.
“The people gave you a contract to build a good mansion for them, you invested the money into Nkomfem and you ate them, they gave you another money and you used it to publish green books, this is a story of a mason of incompetence,” he stated.
Dr Bawumia mentioned that the work of the current government is evidence based and it is clear for the world to see.
He said the nation deserved to be governed by intelligible individuals who would set it on the map of Africa.
Outlining the achievement of the government, the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo said that just three years his government has been able to implement policies that in many ways had helped to ease the burden of the people.
He explained that Planting for Food and Jobs has created employment and has increased agricultural yields which has made the nation benefited from low price agricultural produce.
“This propaganda that people are suffering must stop because Ghanaians are rather doing good under my presidency than the former,” Nana Addo Dankwa said.

The president stated that the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) has provided jobs for the youth who were unemployed under the bad administration of the former president.
“We have brought back trainee allowances, allowance of medical students as well as one district One Factory, one village one dam among others all within just three years,” he added.
He expressed commitment to continue his good job to develop the country and urged Ghanaians to support his course.
The development of the nation, the President noted lied on good education, stressing that Ghanaians should not pave way for the Former President to review the Free Senior High School (SHS) Policy intended to give every child access to quality education.
“Let’s not support those who will cancel free SHS, who will review it and destroy the nation but rally round me and vote massively for me to win the 2020 election,” he stressed.
Nana Akuffo Addo revealed that if given additional four years he would improve national infrastructure like roads and other necessary amenities to help all Ghanaians move forward in the right direction, adding that “the battle is still the Lord’s.”
