Paa Kwesi Nduom downplays Bawumia’s competency by grading Naana Opoku-Agyemang as better

The founder of Progressive Peoples Party PPP, Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom has graded the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as better than the current vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

According to him, Dr Bawumia talk without any action and has not been a great help to Ghanaians after he ascend to the throne as vice president.

In a congratulatory message on his Twitter page yesterday, Dr Ndoum noted that Naana Opoku-Agyemang had an incredible ability which she could perform better when given chance as vice.

He insisted that Dr Bawumia did not offer the nation with the fruit of his intelligence which he always used to craft words together to tell Ghanaians.

“John Mahama’s running mate Prof. Jane Opoku Agyeman is far best than this current veep Bawumia. Mr Talkative with no action,” Dr Ndoum jabs.

Former President John Dramani Mahama on Monday unveiled former Education Minister, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as his running mate for the 2020 General election.

The Council of Elders and Founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have approved the choice of the candidate and officially introduced her to the citizenry in a short ceremony held in Accra.

She prevailed after stiff competition with former finance ministers and governor of the Central Bank Dr Kwabena Duffuor, who is deemed to be favoured by the grassroots of the party.

This the first time any of the two major political parties is going into an election with a woman on the presidential ticket.

If the NDC emerges victorious in the polls, she will be the first female Vice President of Ghana.
