The Broken Marriage Vow Episode 10 Marina suffers acute stroke, Jill rescinds decision to get her marriage annulled, Jill threatens to tell Carol her intimate moment with Charlie
After he was unable to see Lexy, David left the airport and kept trying Lexy’s contact but it still never went through. Dianne called Jill to inform her that her husband was at the airport but missed the flight of Lexy. She then called her Attorney to fast track the petition.
Later, Jill woke up to find her husband sleeping on the sofa. David was awoken by the plate and spoon noise when Jill was preparing breakfast. He joined the breakfast table and his wife asked if there was a problem but he never admitted.
As Jill was going to work, she bumped into Carol and Charlie who were doing a work out. Carol asked her to join them but she said another time. Jill went to work and saw Sandy on the way who talked to her to forgive her husband.
Jill did not know how to do that since David had not even asked for forgiveness. She later went to see her lawyer and told him that she would want to go through the petition again due to her son.
Dante, his lawyer realised she was having a second thought but she denied. She went to her office to think about everything and recalled all the good times with David. Sandy came to remind her not to sign the divorce petition papers because Lexy was out of her way.
In America, Lexy got her abortion done. David, on the other hand queried the Environment department for surveying the land and denied him the permit. He later went to talk to Charlie and told him how his life was messed up. He was sad that Lexy would leave him and abort his child.
Jill arrived home and David walked out. Jill looked at the petition and Gio came to greet his mother. She was about to talk to Gio when Migs called her to inform her that Marina had collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. He had been calling David but he refused to pick his calls.
They rushed to the hospital and were told he suffered a stroke and collapsed. She was in the ICU and the health practitioners were able to revive her. David heaved a sigh of relief since he was not ready to lose his mother.
While his mother was still fighting for her life, David cried out to her, saying he would do everything she wanted him to do. He would build his family and fix his life. Hearing this, Jill called her Attorney to inform him that he had changed his mind and would no longer push through with the divorce.
Later, the doctor diagnosed Mrs Marina Illustre of acute stroke and was unable to move certain parts of her body. The doctor recommended therapy. Since her house was closer to the hospital, Jill asked her mother-in-law to live with them.
Soon, Marina was recovering and was grateful for the second chance. She was happy her family was whole. As Jill was leaving for work, she saw Carol having an argument with Charlie and she pretended not to have seen it. She went to work and Sandy was happy that she did not divorce her husband.
Jill was not ready to let her 14 years of marriage go down the drain. She deemed her mother-in-law’s sickness as a wake up call for her to be with her husband and family. She also believed that Lexy was not returning and thanked Sandy for making her realise that.
David went to see Mr Cabaras in order to buy his land but the man was not ready to sell the land to land developers who did not respect the environment. Jill overheard Sandy talking to the senior doctor about her letter for promotion. Sandy had been fighting for promotion for the past decade but had still not gained that privilege.
The doctor said once there was a vacancy, she would be promoted. Soon, Jill discovered that a patient she was looking after left without informing her and the person had left his feedback on social media. She found out from social media about some individuals who were tarnishing her image and questioning her ethics.
She was summoned by the doctor concerning the Violence and physical injury charges filed against her and she was asked if she had made an unknown enemy. Jill was perplexed about the development and knew someone was sabotaging her.
She received a message from Carol and they met at a coffee shop where Carol told her about her suspicions concerning her husband. Carol believed Charlie was cheating and wanted Jill to tell her if she found out anything against David when she was suspecting him.
Jill referred her to the advice she gave her some time ago that David would not cheat on her and she also believed Charlie wouldn’t do that to her.
Carol could not fathom how tables have turned for her to be in Jill’s shoes and asked her what to do. Jill said the one who had an answer to her questions was Charlie so she should ask him.
Jill went to use the washroom and used that moment to call Charlie to inform him that his wife was suspicious that he was having an affair.
Jill threatened to tell Carol that she had an affair with Charlie but it was a mistake. Charlie stopped Jill and told her that his wife had not mentioned her name as the one he cheated her with so there was no call for alarm.
He urged Jill to keep her mouth shut and promised to be at the coffee shop. Jill gave him 10 minutes to be there, otherwise she would tell Carol the truth.
