Ace Musician, Kofi B passes away, dies out of cardiac arrest

Ace highlife Musician, Kofi Boakye Yiadom known by his stage name Kofi B has joined his ancestors today in Cape Coast.
Preliminary reports indicated that the multi award winning highlife musician had not been well for some time now.
He was known for hit tracks like Mmbrowa, Bantama Kofi Boakye, Koforidua Flowers among others and performed on many great stages.
Kofi B was a modern highlife musician who stayed true to the rudiments of highlife genre.In an early interview, he said had a vision to engage in law before his quest changed in life to embrace music as a career.
According to the late musician, he chanced on music even though his family had no liking for music.
Kofi B narrated that he was from a poor family and had to hawk on the streets to make earns meet, adding that his father died when he was 5 years of age.
He counted Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi, Ofori Amponsah and the late Opampuo as his inspirations.
