Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 584 Mariano’s mistake flares up Elizabeth’s suspicions, Clarice woos Espinoza to propose to her
Major Basco while having breakfast with his comrades told them about his intentions to retire since he was growing older. Cardo told Basco that he had always thought he had a heart of stone when they were working in the forest but now he was vocal expressing his feelings due to Major Opeña.
Clarice led Patrick to the house to ask Maring if there was something else she could do to help. Maring was impressed that Clarice was even doing things that she was not told to do. Dante hissed that it was all a show.
Cardo said it would be better for them to concentrate on things which would make them happy. Ramil asked Jerome his plans about Bubbles. Cardo recounted the struggles of Bubbles and reminded Jerome of his promise to marry Clarice.
He also advised Macoy to be an honest cop because in the heart of the security was honesty and loyalty. He told him to forever uphold the virtues of his sworn duties and the young boy vowed to always remember that and thanked Cardo. Delfin did not see Espinoza well so he told Dante to keep close eyes on him.
Lito sent Alyana to an office and Alyana feared she could not be able to deliver on her new mandate as she had not worked as a real estate developer. Lito advised her not to worry because he did not wake up one day to become who he was and promised to teach Alyana to navigate her way through her new post.
Alyana’s eyes still depicted fears and Lito told her that he believed in her and knew she would deliver. He promised to mould her to become as successful as he was and urged her that they should help each other. Maring sent Clarice to the field to pick some fruits but she gave her warning that there were insects which could be itchy on the skin.
Maring told Espinoza to take care of Clarice. Salvador was worried about Alyana taking care of the biggest project. Lito made it clear that he knew what he was doing by making Alyana become part of his project. Salvador was scared that the tables might turn.
Bubbles was really happy for Alyana for her new position. She asked Alyana whether she would have married Lito, if Cardo was not in the picture. Macoy now recalled who Cardo was really. He recalled him as a cop good in handling güns and was the leader of the Task Force Agila group. He wondered the exact thing he was doing there in the province.
Cardo came clean as he narrated that the first lady was after his tail after he and his comrades helped her and saved her. Clarice claimed she was biting by an ant so Espinoza helped her out. Meanwhile, Dela Fuente called her a crying baby. She fed Espinoza the fruits he plucked. Patrick told her he was coming and she ran to Dela Fuente to give him some of the fruits to eat.
Dela Fuente rejected her fruit claiming it might be poisoned and warned her not to make such a move with him because he would not be easily swayed like what he was doing to Espinoza. Clarice got upset by Dante’s seriousness and called him a k!ll joy.
Espinoza returned with a flower to give it to Clarice. Clarice claimed she had not received such flowers from any man before. Dela Fuente had a talk with Espinoza and he warned him about what he had been doing with Clarice. Espinoza called him jealous and warned him not to treat him like a child because he knew what he wanted.
Dela Fuente reminded him that their duty was to keep an eye on Clarice for her not to flee so he should stick to it, otherwise, any mistake would land them in trouble. Clarice tried to compel Patrick to propose but the guy only talked about her beauty. Lito fetched for Alyana and they had lunch together.
Alyana took a food Cardo cooked for her. This time around, she ensured it did not spill. Lito ensured Alyana did not eat her husband’s food but the one he made his cook cooked for him. Alyana returned to the office and Bubbles together with other colleagues teased her.
Elsewhere, Ramil believed Alyana might have chosen Lito. Cardo stated that Alyana was not into money, otherwise, she would have left him. He trusted his wife that she was not after money. He believed even if he was in a deep mess, Alyana would still stay by his side. That was the reason he had married her twice.
Ellen followed Arturo to the palace and her husband knew Lily would not be pleased by that. As they were talking, Lily and Mariano bumped into them. Ellen quickly greeted Oscar. However, the manner Mariano was looking at her got her thinking. Lily asked what she was doing there since she thought she had travelled to the US.
Arturo made it clear that his wife did not want to go and Ellen explained that she had agreed with her husband to provide him with emotional support. Lily made Oscar greet Elizabeth but Mariano mistakenly called Elizabeth Eloisa, sending shockwaves through Elizabeth. Lily ordered Elizabeth to serve Oscar his lunch.
As Elizabeth went, she confronted Mariano for his mistake. Elizabeth became very suspicious of Oscar and Ambo was also worried. He believed it was normal for the President to have forgotten her name. Elizabeth said she was now more worried than before.
She prepared Oscar’s favourite shrimp food and the manner Mariano ate for her more worried and she believed something was off. Ambo, on the other hand, believed Oscar was enjoying the meal so it was a good sign to make him have a complete memory of them.
Elizabeth still felt that something was off. While she was sitting there alone, Ellen thought about Oscar and wondered why he was watching her as if he did not know her. She also has a feeling that the president was rather interested in her. She felt happy by that thought.
