Ghana will be like paradise and an industrialised Nation when Akufo-Addo is given another term— Allotey Jacobs
The former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs has revealed that Ghana will be like paradise when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is re-elected into power.
According to him, the Akufo-Addo led administration has done massively well in building the economy and Ghana would be heaven on earth when people rally round the NPP party.
Speaking in a media interview, Mr Jacobs sited the commission of CASA DE ROPA factory under the one district-one factory (1D1F) initiative at Gomoa Bewadze in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region as a key developmental tool that would drive the economy and create jobs for youth.
He applauded the government for introducing such policy and urged the public to give four more for Nana to do more.
“If Nana Addo continues creating jobs like he is doing now, and given another four-year term he will turn Ghana into Paradise so I personally support his 1D1F policy…” Mr Jacobs added.
He noted that the government has commissioned two factories in the Central Region which included the Ekumfi Pineapple and Fruit Juice Factory at Ekumfi Nanaben and Casa De Ropa factory at Gomoa Bewadze.
“These have given the teeming youth in the areas jobs,” Mr Jacobs added.
The factories, he observed have employed over 400 youth both skilled and unskilled labour and the local people, adding that “indeed Ghana will turn into an industrialised nation and youth unemployment will be reduced.”
