Gospel musician, Patience Nyarko has expressed readiness to be the outspoken gospel musician who will mobilise youth to support her craft like Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale.

According to her, the gospel industry needed tough skin person like Shatta Wale who will voice out and speak on behalf of other musicians in the gospel fraternity and poised to be that voice.

Speaking in a media interview in Accra on Tuesday, the “Wafom kwan” hitmaker indicated that her decision was as a result of her endless admiration for Shatta Wale and would do her best to be the gospel copy cat of the Dancehall artiste in the gospel music fraternity.

Explaining why she loved him so much, she mentioned his boldness, determination, seriousness and strategic ways of mobilising the youth to support his career.

Notwithstanding his huge and loyal fan base in the country which had led him to be admired by many outside the country to feature him, Patience Nyarko said she was prepared to lead similar life to chalk success in the gospel music scene.

She noted that the gospel music fraternity needed somebody who is articulate, bold and always up to something new like the self acclaimed Dancehall King.

She believed that majority of Ghanaian gospel musicians were doing extremely well but were not given the needed support and appreciation, thus her decision to follow Shatta Wale’s steps.

Patience Nyarko further indicated that one beautiful thing she has learnt from Shatta Wale was how he had been able to build a huge fanbase  to promote his craft.

She said she would soon be seen bringing Christian youth together to worship and praise the almighty God while promoting her music on all platforms.

Patience Nyarko described Charles Nii Armah Mensah known by his stage name, Shatta Wale as the revolutionary who has been very outstanding in the fight to ensure betterment of the creative art industry.
