Gerald Anderson not ready for love
Actor turned Film Producer, Gerald Anderson has declared intentions of focusing on developing his career without paving room for love.
According to him, love does not come when one searches for it but it only appears when success hits your doors.
Anderson said this in a recent interview with the media after the launch of his Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) movie entry Rekonek.
He said he was not ready to make time for love life in 2026 but was now concentrated on enhancing his career to attain the needed career success.
”I don’t think so. My main focus right now is building my professional career and building my personal life. And when you’re looking for love, it won’t come. It just comes unexpectedly. So, right now, I’m just focused on work. You can see, my drive is different now,” he said.
After his split from Julia Barretto, the actor was seen making advances on ex-lover Kim Chiu when both received Loyalty awards at the Star Magical Christmas Sleigh the Night 2025.
Though, fans made farce about it, Anderson is all about leveling up his career, leaving love off the table for now.
