Musician Forgyver Kemmy warns against voting for bad leaders

Talented Raggae-Dancehall artiste, Forgyver Kemmy has warned the youth against voting for corrupt leaders to protect their future.

She said it was time for African youth to rise up and take decisions that would promote growth and massive development on the continent.

In a Facebook post, the versatile musicians stated that “Being unique is better than being perfect. Hustling is part of the everyday life of an African because our leaders have failed us.

“It is time to say a big no to all corrupt leaders. We are fed up with old people leading us in pain and suffering. You always increase fuel prices but not salaries and it saddens me that there are hard working people who take salaries as low as GHC200.00 a month. How can one pay rent and other bills from such an amount. Meanwhile our leaders are living luxurious lives and their children, also driving in convoys, etc,” she lamented.

The beautiful songstress further indicated she did not want to touch on the woes of the the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) in Ghana, adding that the only medication it could cover was probably just paracetamol.

Known in real life as Chelsy Alevi, the award winning singer said the youth had the capacity to be the change they wanted in the society by voting wisely, adding that responsible voting had the ability to make the future of any country brighter.

Forgyver Kemmy, who has been in the music industry for more than a decade now aspires to be one of the most sought after entertainers in the country and Africa at large.

The light skinned actress cum musician never ceases to amaze her fans with choice of lyrics and beats.

She is a product of Waves and Breezes Institute and hails from the Volta region.
So far, the gorgeous musician has more than 20 songs to her credit and remains one of Ghana’s most gifted dancehall acts.
