NABCO introduces a new short code to enable trainees and partners donate to the COVID-19 Trust Fund

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), Dr Ibrahim Anyars has introduced a new short code that would enable staffs, trainees and Module Implementation Partners (MIPs) donate to the COVID-19 Trust Fund.

The code which is *447*1610# would help nation builders across all networks to raise funds within three months period in enhancing the livelihoods of the needy.

According to a press statement issued yesterday in Accra and signed by the CEO explained that staffs of NABCO would pay an amount of Ghc200 while a trainee would pay Ghc10 to fuel the fund to achieve its intended purpose.

Dr Anyars indicated that the COVID-19 Fund was a good initiative and needed all hands to come on deck in mitigating the ravaging effects of the global pandemic.

He lauded the government for such initiative within the current hard times the nation was encountering and pledged his outfit’s commitment to support in raising funds to sustain lives.

“As a community that anchored to a nation building ethos we deem it appropriate that we respond generously to the call to help save lives in our dear nation,” Dr Anyars added.

He noted that NABCO was barely two years old but would stand in solidarity with the government to mobilise financial resources to cater for the less fortunate members in the country.

Dr Anyars therefore urged all nation builders to respond to the call by supporting the fund with the targeted amount to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged and the vulnerable in the society.
