Quamina MP sets to release an album to chalk his return in the industry

Emmanuel Ato Quamina Amonoo known in the Showbiz circles as Quamina MP is set to release an album after his hiatus leave from the industry following the death of his father.

The musician, made public announcement about the death of his father, Bongo last year on December 5, 2020 on his social media page.

Management of the award-winning  rapper, in a social media post via the musician’s handle, confirmed that the rapper’s father died after he was involved in an accident with his son whilst traveling from Akosombo to Accra on November 27, 2020.

“As you may all have heard, Quamina MP got involved in an accident a short while back. While he is recovering, we regret to announce to you that his dad, known as Bongo couldn’t make it. During these extremely difficult times, we appeal to all and sundry to accord him and his family the privacy they deserve to mourn their hero. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers. RIP daddy, your memory lives on,” the post read.

The “Amanfuor girls” hitmaker in January 23, 2021 dropped a track dubbed: “Bongo” a tribute song to eulogies the achievement of his father and to express his emotions about how he felt about his dad’s sudden demise.

“Find me a place to hide my tears #Bongo out now on all platforms,” he said.

However, Quamina MP made pronouncement on his Twitter handle yesterday, March 9 to announce his Extended Play (EP) album which he is yet to release to mark his return in the industry.

The album is believed to be named after his father “Bongo” and is said to be a tribute album to talk about the good works of his dad and his deep love for him.

Quamina MP noted that his father was a legend and even in his grave he would forever pronounce his good name as he supported his career even as a black man.

“And so we mourn Bongo; but still, in the meanwhile, we relish the facts-that there lived a father good enough to be so deeply loved by a son; that there was one African parent who affirmed his son’s dreams, ” he added.

The musician further celebrated his dad for supporting him to blossom into an entity that brought deep joy to millions of people, adding that “hail Bongo.”

Quamina MP sets to release

Although he has not released the date to release the album but he has assured fans that preparations were on the way to release the album as soon as possible.
