You are getting exactly what you voted for, Shut up— Bulldog jabs FixTheCountry campaigners
Artist Manager, Bull Dog has called on #Fixthecountry campaigners to shut up and enjoy the Akufo-Addo-led administration which they voted for during the 2020 general elections.
According to him, the alleged hardship, unemployment, fuel hikes, dumsor among others that the campaigners were demanding the government to “fix it” came as a result of their vote.
Some unhappy Ghanaians mostly made up of the youth earlier notified the police of an intent to embark on a demonstration following an uproar on social media.
The protest is to vent their spleens over what they describe as a failure on the part of successive governments to improve the lives of the citizenry.
In a letter signed by 20 individuals, they explained that the date, May 9, was selected to capture the restless spirit of the over 126 Ghanaians who lost their lives some 20 years ago at the Accra Sports Stadium due to the “institutionalised incompetence and disregard for Ghanaian lives.”
Reacting to this, Bull Dog noted that the protestors have no choice to be protesting since they threw their support to the New Patriotic Party led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He also urged Sarkodie and Samini who allegedly bagged a whopping Ghc500,000 each for releasing campaign song for the NPP and its flagbearer, President Akufo-Addo to release a “fix it” track to signal the grievances of the aggrieved youth to the President.
“How about a collabo? A hit song titled “FIXIT” by Samini and Sarkodie,” Bull Dog added.
The hashtag #Fixthecountry which is leading trends on social media is also being championed by some celebrities of the Country.
