Africans are hypocrites for fighting against racism—Becca spews
Afrobeat singer, Becca has labelled some Africans especially Ghanaians as hypocrites for advocating end of racism in the United States of America (USA) while promoting tribalism in the country.
According to her, some of those individuals who were championing “black life matters” campaign were acting contrary in their local settings.
Responding to the racism brouhaha which came as a wake of George Floyd’s murder on her Twitter handle on Thursday, the award winning Songstress stated that the act of racism is ongoing in the country and some parts of Africa.
She said some people did not allow their relatives to marry others from different tribe or country in Africa and advocated change.
Becca indicated that before some individuals could fit to judge others they should critically look at themselves and know they were without blemish.
She noted that some Africans especially Ghanaians were championing tribalism while talking against racism, stressing that tribalism is a form of racism and urged Ghanaians to also refrain from the act.
“You are here in Africa fighting and advocating racism in the US but in your church/home, you are criticising and judging someone for marrying a fellow African because they are not from your hometown/country/church… Damn Hypocrites!!!” She cried
Becca appealed for love and urged all Africans to stay united and shy from any act that go against their own.
In promoting issue against racism, she cautioned Africans to stop the act of favouritism to foster development in Africa and among the blacks.
