Being covered with Ebony’s image makes my music career challenging— Tiisha

Afropop musician, Tiisha has decried that the industry has become difficult for her to excel since she has been covered by the image of the late Ebony Reigns.

According to her, people always compare her music to that of Ebony due to the likeness of their voice.

Speaking in an interview with the media, the “packaging” hitmaker stated that the comparison was a challenge to her  music career.

She noted that the late Ebony was a great artiste and bearing a similar voice required her to sing hit tracks in the similar fashion as Ebony or sing better than her.

Tiisha stated that due to cover-up image she was carrying people either rate her lower than Ebony or parallel, thus making it tough for her to bring her actual image to the industry.

“I am working hard as an artist to project  an image to Ghanaians and the world but the sad aspect is someone’s image covers my image and it doesn’t feel good,” she added.

The Zylofon Music signee indicated that she always take console in the fact that she was being compared to a celebrated artiste, yet it becomes challenging to set the dice rolling as far as her music is concerned.

She however expressed joy for being signed to a great record label, Zylofon to hone her talent and better craft her music to meet public expectations in the industry.
