Betrayal (Halik) Episode 21 Jacky cries over her meeting with Robert
“I am always ahead of her. I refuse to make her dig the trash I buried years ago.”
Jade told Marissa that sometimes Ace message her but she had failed to reply him. Marissa said she should put her life together and pick Ace since he and Lino were both cheaters but Ace would offer her a good life.
Jade stated that she did not have anything special to offer to Ace for him to divorce his wife.
However, Lino told Pinky that he trusted his wife and he was sure she would not allow herself to be used by any guy.
Barry asked him not to mind his cousin, she was very much opinionated. Jacky and Ace were watching a movie centred on a cheating man as he saw himself in the movie he turned it off.
Jacky approached him to tell him about her plans to visit her biological father in Quezon.
Ace advised her to get a private investigator to do the search for her. Meanwhile, Mauro was scheming with Paeng on how to make Jacky’s effort in the search proved futile.
“I am always ahead of her. I refuse to make her dig the trash I buried years ago.”
Paeng promised to ensure Diego and Dos Disanyo’s deal did not go through. Joel asked Ace if he was still interested in his wife.
Ace said yes but Jacky had too many issues. Joel made him believe that Jacky did not deserve to be cheated on so if he was interested in Jade he should go in for her.
At Dos Disanyo, a man got himself drunk, saying his wife cheated on her. He started to trash things so Lino put him into control.
Jacky came to the bedroom to meet Ace holding his phone, Jacky tried to pull the phone from his hand while he was asleep so Ace woke up and got upset.
He scolded Jacky for still suspecting him of infidelity while she was the one going around with Lino.
Jacky said she only came in to wake him up and asked if he would go with her. Ace said he would not go to Quezon with her so she could go with Lino or better still Dolor.
Jacky informed Ken and Chari about it. They wondered why Ace would be so rude to her. They escorted her to Quezon.
Meanwhile, Diego arrived in Manila and talked to Lino and Barry about the deal. He said he was interested in the designs and gave them two weeks as deadline.
Barry said the original plan was a month and did not want to accept but Lino intervened and accepted since Diego insisted of launching it before his competitors and was prepared to pay any amount for it.
Jacky got to Quezon with his friends and when they reached the address, Chari said the place was just like Cebu.
They knocked and a certain man came and seemed to know Arturo but refused to show them where he was. He walked out off them after he said Robert (Arturo) had left the place long time.
Mauro scrolled down the leavers watching Jacky and her friends through the window.
Tet came to the mansion of the Bartolomes in search of Jade. Fe answered that the ungrateful girl left the place but Dolor went to pull Fe away.
Jacky got home and Ace asked her how her search went. She felt so disappointed. Ace spewed that he already told her that the trip was pointless as nothing would come out of it.
Jacky pleaded with him not to add salt to her injury. Meanwhile Mauro and Paeng toasted to Jacky’s defeat.
“You should have seen her face, the picture of utter disappointment and defeat,” Mauro sipped.
“She won’t waste her time in looking for him anymore,” Paeng taunted.
“Yes but I’m an not done with her.”
“What’s your plan?’ Paeng became anxious.
“I am going to end this. I will make sure that she will not search for her father again,” they smiled.
Lino wondered why Jade had not told Tet about their recent misunderstanding. Tet even wondered why Jade was avoiding her.
Lino said of late Jade has found fault in everything he did and Tet interjected that because she was guilty.
“Guilty about what?” Lino seemed disturbed.
“For being so close minded and stubborn,” Tet brushed off the suspicion in Lino’s mind. She promised to talk to Jade.
Jacky received a call from someone claiming he was Robert Oliver. Jacky told Dolor about the good news.
However, a man with disfigured face who earlier spoke with Jacky saw the picture of Jacky on his phone.
Tet met with Jade and asked her why she still believed that her husband cheated. To her Lino would never do such a thing.
She told her to stop deceiving herself adding that she would end up getting hurt. Tet said she was accusing Lino since she was being bugging by her guilty conscience.
She also threatened to reveal the truth about Jade’s relationship with Ace to Lino if she did not end her relationship and go back to Lino.
Jade got upset and told her that she could even post it on social media, adding that she was done with Lino. She took her bag and left.
She went home and chopped vegetables to get off her anger. Marissa asked her to stop. Marissa decided to go out with her and get wasted.
Jacky arrived at the location where she was supposed to meet her dad. The man with a disfigured face showed up.
She asked whether he was her real father and he said yes. They then hugged. Ace asked Chari where Jacky went. Robert told Jacky that the meeting would be their first and last.
He explained that he had a wife and kids and did not want jeaopadise his relationship with his wife that was why he met her to talk to her once he heard she was searching for him.
Ace was told by Chari that Jacky went to see Robert since he called her to meet him.
As Jacky left, the man with the disfigured face laid down a recording and alerted his accomplice that their plan went well.
His accomplice called Mauro to inform him about the successful work done. Mauro and Paeng listened to the conversation and Paeng said the man sounded so convincing and and if one did not know Robert the person might think it was him.
Lino later met with Tet and he asked how the meeting with Jade went. Tet told him that Jade still had not made her mind to change.
Lino thanked her and said sorry for dragging her into his mess but she promised not to give up on Jade and also asked Lino not to give up on her.
Jacky on her way going home received a text from Dolor asking her about how her meeting with her father went.
Jacky called Dolor to inform her about the bad news. Dolor promised to help her in anyway she could if she needed.
Chari also called Jacky to ask where she was and she said she was at the their favourite restaurant and would soon meet her and Ken.
Meanwhile, Jade saw Jacky and created scene while Marissa backed her up. Jade insisted on asking her if she was going after Lino but Jacky said Jade was being so paranoid.
Ken and Chari heard some women were fighting outside so they decided to go out and watch what was going on.
As Jade attacked Jacky, Jacky snatched a drink which was in Marissa’s hand and threw it on Jade.
Marissa then held Jacky and both women attacked Jacky.
