Brothers-Ang Probinsyano Episode 20 Diego escapes through bombing incident
Robles was told that there was no drugs available. Cardo got to the other side and the man who was counting the money after hearing the presence asked how much he would pay for the drugs.
He said he would pay 14 pesos and he asked him to pay, he opened his alm and Cardo place a police badge in the man shivered after seeing it.
He pleaded with Cardo and told him to take all the money but Cardo said he had the never to bribe him. He ordered him to put the money into his mouth, he then kicked him.
He went to open all the doors which the rest of the workers were hidden in. The man told Robles that he would come back for him as he needed to call someone. He then closed the door, leaving Robles out. Joaquin and the rest of the backup team were watching Robles and the man’s conversation on the laptop.
The people blew alarm that the police were outside and Cardo said they were already in. one of the drug pushers wanted to attack Cardo from behind but he was very fast and quick to kick him.
He told the rest of the drug pushers that they were young and had to use their lives for something meaningful.
Joaquin and the rest of the team got in and he told him that he promised to hunt them and he did it but Joaquin said they needed to talk.
At the office the senior officers confronted Cardo for his move and Joaquin said he could have endangered the rest of the team.
Cardo said if he had not done what he did Robles would have been in trouble. Robles indicated that so it was his fault.
Cardo was told although the job was done but he should follow the orders of his superiors. Some of the policemen at canteen lauded Cardo for his brave work and cautioned him to be vigilant and be extra careful of Joaquin.
Meanwhile, Joaquin was also told by the rest of his friends that pretty soon Joaquin would surpass him. He felt so sad and attacked his friend. Mike told Cardo to watch his back as Joaquin always saw Ador as competition. They also pledged to make him win over Billy since he was Ador’s best friend.
In the evening after Ador put Onyok to sleep, he was joined by Flora and she asked about his plans for Onyok and he said he would enroll him in a school so Flora asked of Onyok’s age and he said four years. She promised to search for a school which would be good for his age.
She then asked about the real parent of Onyok and he said he did not know since they left Onyok at the orphanage when he was a kid. He said he felt sorry for Onyok so he made Arabas and his wife Lena adopted him.
Rachel told Verna she did not need any nanny. She said she had grown enough and Verna said she would love the nanny since she cared for Joaquin and even her when she was a kid.
Cita arrived and said Rachel was a big girl, has grown tall and looked like a beauty queen just like her flawless mother.
Cita learnt that Joaquin was a corp and asked Verna why upon all the professions he chose to be a corp.
Flora got a school for Onyok, adding that he should not worry about Onyok’s tuition since her former student owned the school.
Cardo joined Joaquin who were receiving all the praises for helping a man to find his son. He still told Joaquin that he did not like what he did during the operation.
Onyok helped to prepare a dish for Flora, Flora tasted and she said it was yummy. She promised to teach Onyok how to prepare other meals including Karikari and told him to study hard for the other week once he started school.
As Cardo came in, he told him to come eat as Benny who was sleeping heard of the food, he woke up and rushed for his but he was told he would be given any.
In that evening, Onyok, Cardo and Benny visited Glen to present to her some of the food. Mr Nanding called them for dinner and Benny rushed to go in so Nanding asked Cardo who he was and he told him about Benny.
Glen realised that Cardo wanted to embark on private investigation about Diego. As Philip was coming Tomas thought of means to get Diego to escape to help him in other dirty jobs so he did a video conference with some goons on how they ran away with Diego after court proceedings.
He also talked to Joaquin about it and said they had to plan the escape in such a means that the police would think Diego was dead. Cardo issue came up and Joaquin told Tomas that Cardo’s insubodination would bring him down but Tomas said that could be his strategy so Joaquin should learn.
Billy gave a letter to Carmen and said the next day Diego would stand for trial and she wished he would rot in jail.
Benny told Cardo he agreed with Glen when she said he should not do anything against Diego. Cardo asked him whether he was on his side or Glen. Benny indicated Ador once helped and he was grateful to him for everything he did but Cardo should not do anything that would bring harm to him.
The court proceedings began and the marshal read the case “Criminal case number 3471 people of the Philippines vrs Diego Sahagun for the murderer of Ador.”
He pleaded guilty to the charges, Carmen attacked him for his plea. Benny rushed to the court room after he could reach Cardo on phone.
He revealed to Cardo some goons were going to save Diego from going to prison and they were planning the escape at that moment.
Benny when going to the Court room with Delfin, Cardo and Flora excused them that he was visiting the washroom to ease himself and he overhead one of the goons sent by Tomas speaking to Tomas on phone on how they were on standby to save Diego.
Cardo followed them with a taxi. He told the owner that it was a police operation but he was unlucky, since the one of the goons threw bombs into the police cars.
Tomas watched the entire scene on his laptop as a certain lady had camera planted on her dress to help Tomas watched whether the operation would be successful.
Cardo fainted. Glen who Benny revealed the mission to her got there to save Cardo. She sent him to hospital.
Once Cardo regained consciousness he was told that Diego got burnt into ashes and most of the officers were dead. Cardo left the hospital even when he was not discharged.
Cardo was reprimanded by Delfin for running after Diego. He said he had already taken him off Diego’s case. Cardo said he wanted to watch and make him pay for his crimes but he got away but Delfin told him that Diego was dead so he should allow sleeping dogs lie.
Later that evening he went to scold Glen for revealing his intentions to Delfin. Glen said she did that since she was worried and he asked her never to get worried since it was not in his plan to hurt Diego, stressing that he was not a shallow minded person and as his best friend she should have known him that he only wanted Diego to pay for his crimes.
At home, Flora told him that he should not have scolded Glen since she was only worried about him. He told Cardo that they all cared for him and he should always put it at the back of his head that he has a family who cared for his safety. She said he was no longer alone.
Joaquin promised to use his position as CIDG to temper with the forensic result to make the police believe Diego was dead.
News broke on television that a police car exploded and killed many people including a suspect of a murder case, Carmen watched and cried.
Diego was welcomed by Tomas and Joaquin and he promised to make up for all the wrong he did against them. He thanked them for saving him from prison.
Cardo sat on the bed while Onyok was asleep watching pictures of his brother. Flora got there and told him that now that his brother’s killer was dead he had to plan his future together with Onyok and put all the resentment and anger aside.
Cardo told her that what if he did a mistake by catching a wrong person as the killer of Ador. He recalled the bombing incident and how Diego was successfully sent to a different car.
