Don’t use my son’s obscenities and outburst on social media as a media folder or click-bait—Archbishop Duncan Williams
The Archbishop of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams has called on the public to sympathise with his family for his son breaking the internet with nude pictures and videos.
According to him, his last son Daniel Duncan Williams was suffering from an ailment of a sort and his deeds should not be a source of news for the media.
A press statement issued yesterday in Accra by the Spokesperson of the renowned archbishop, Bishop Ebenezer Obodai said Daniel had undergone medical interventions, treatments and hospitalisations, yet he still experiences relapses whenever he fails to take in his prescribed medication.
He pleaded with the media and the public not to use Daniel’s outbursts on social media and elsewhere as a media fodder or click-bait.
“We acknowledge that the obscenities are abhorrent but understand that he has a serious illness,” Bishop Obodai stated.
The Archbishop, he stated said what his son was doing was a test of his faith and acknowledged the situation his son was in, stressing that he still love his son and appealed for prayers on his behalf.
“Love covers a multitude of sins.1 Peter 4:8,” Archbishop Duncan Williams added.
Bishop Obodai further stated that the Archbishop and his family continue to stand firm in their faith believing God for Daniel’s full deliverance, healing and restoration.
“We ask that you please respect their privacy as they navigate through this trying time,
Psalms 3:3. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head,” he stressed.
